In order to protect this thousand-year-old village, a new village has been built, and it is stipulated that no new houses can be built in the ancient village. The ancient house is a traditional dry-rail wooden house, which generally has two floors, one for raising chickens, ducks and livestock, and the other for living.

The most conspicuous building in the stockade is a temple, resplendent in a group of black and white gray buildings.

The villagers say that men will be sent to become monks in their teens and then return to the secular world in a few years. Of course, if they don't want to get married, they don't have to return to the secular world. The villagers said it was a custom here.

Climb to the observation deck of Nuogan ancient village and have a panoramic view of the ancient village below. The tea trees around the quaint villages are in full bloom around wild flowers, and the air seems to be filled with the fragrance of tea, and the smoke from kitchen chimneys rises. Occasionally, I hear the sound of chickens barking and dogs barking, and my heart seems quiet.
