What should you do when traveling to Xiamen? What to do?

Hi! What a coincidence, I am also from Harbin and just came back from a self-guided tour there! I stayed for 11 days, I hope my answer will be helpful to you!

1. The main places worth visiting near Xiamen are: Gulangyu Island, Nanputuo Temple, Xiamen University, Huli Mountain Fort, Ring Island Highway, Jimei Mei Village, Tan Kah Kee’s former residence, and Ao Garden.

These are relatively conventional routes. If you still have time, you can also go to Wanshi Botanical Garden, Tongan Film and Television City, and Bailuzhou Park.

For shopping, I think Zhongshan Road Commercial District is good, as well as SM City Plaza!

As for snacks: Nanputuo Temple’s vegetarian cakes, Gulangyu meat cakes, fish ball soup, fried oysters, bamboo shoot jelly, sand tea noodles, peanut soup, etc. are quite unique.

2. The must-visit Tulou in Fujian is the Tulou in Fujian. I went to Chengqilou in Yongding. I didn’t know about Tulou before, but I felt quite shocked when I went there this time. Moreover, CCTV has recently broadcast a series of videos about Tulou. An introduction to Fujian Tulou is worth a visit!

3. The Quanzhou you mentioned include: Kaiyuan Temple, Twin Pagodas, Mazu Temple, and Tumen Street.

4. I also went to Shishi, because it is said that Shishi is a clothing distribution center, but I was very disappointed. I personally think there is no need to go there.

5. I think the focus should be on Wuyi Mountain: There are many scenic spots in Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area, and tour groups may not necessarily take them there. I stayed in Wuyi Mountain for 4 days and 3 nights, but I still didn’t have any fun. Where to go, the general conventional routes are: Tianyou Peak Scenic Area, Jiuqu River Rafting, Huxiaoyan Scenic Area, Yixiantian Scenic Area, Dahongpao Scenic Area. Personally, I think you should also go to Longchuan Grand Canyon and Huanggang Mountain!

6. I haven’t been to Fuzhou...but I still walked through the above places in more detail

OK: You can go from Ha to Xiamen, then go to Wuyi Mountain after the fun, and from Wuyi Mountain to Fuzhou , and then return to Kazakhstan from Fuzhou. You can also go in the opposite direction and see how the air tickets are more economical!

Accommodation: I stayed in a serviced apartment near Xiamen University and the more luxurious Carnival Villa in Wuyi Mountain. Because I took my parents there and I was tired from hiking, so I could rest better!
