Where is Yangmei Community?

Yangmei Village, located in the middle of Pandong Town, is a professional jade village integrating jade production, processing and trade, and is the core industrial zone of Jieyang, the jade capital of Asia and China. In the Ming Dynasty, there was a village where Lin, Xia, Hong and Chen lived together. Lin's surname came to this village in the Ming Dynasty, and it was the surname that settled here earlier. Xia's surname originated from Dulan Village in Lintian in Ming Dynasty, and Hong's surname originated from Dulanhe Village in Lantian and Yingfeng Village in Chao 'an in late Ming Dynasty. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, a man named Chen appeared in Zhu Lan Village, the capital of Yuhu Lake. Settlements are distributed in blocks. The old village residence is a bungalow with three wooden tiles and wooden structures, and the new village residence has been built into a famous Yangmei Jade Capital at home and abroad, with a main building, a group of buildings, a villa area and a jade exhibition center. The hotel is15th floor, with more than 30 buildings, integrating processing, production, trade and residence. The total area of the village is 0.67 square kilometers and there are 3298 villagers. The economy is dominated by jade processing. Jade processing is a traditional craft with a history of 100 years. Known as the hometown of jade, its processed products sell well at home and abroad. There are 1 primary school, 1 cultural activity center, and 1930 double lines pass through the village. June 5438+October 2009 10, Yangmei Village was rated as a national civilized village by the Central Steering Committee for Spiritual Civilization Construction.

Yangmei Community is adjacent to Zhao Gou Community, Qiaodong Community, Chengxi Community, Qiaoxi Community, Chengnan Community, Qiaonan Community, Pudong Community, He Zhong Community, Xixi Community, Jingqiao Community, Nanhe Community, Goumei Community, Beihe Community and Pandong Community.

On September 24th, 20 19, Yangmei community was listed in the list of "demonstration villages (communities) of democracy and rule of law" in Guangdong province in 20 18.

On September 24th, 20 19, Yangmei Community was recognized as the first batch of "Guangdong Cultural Tourism Characteristic Villages" by Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
