Where is Kanas Lake? Where is Kanas Lake?

Kanas Lake is located in Altay, Xinjiang, where a group of simple people live. Many friends who like to travel outdoors are very much looking forward to catching up with the fine weather during the Spring Festival and enjoying the natural charm in Kanas Lake.

This picture shows most of the scenic spots in northern Xinjiang. If you have enough time, you can step on every spot. There are always surprises. If not, the most beautiful scenery is on the road, isn't it?

Kanas

Lake is a national 5A-level tourist scenic spot, which is known as the most beautiful lake in China. Kanas Lake is known as "a fairyland on earth and a garden of gods" because of its towering snow peaks, green splash forest and beautiful lakes and mountains.

"Kanas" is Mongolian, which means "beautiful and mysterious lake". Kanas Lake is located in the north of Bulinjin County, Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The lake comes from glacial meltwater and local precipitation in Kuitun, Youyifeng and other mountains. The lake is 1374 meters above sea level and covers an area of 45.73_2. The deepest elevation of the lake is 1181.5 meters, the depth of the lake is 188.5 meters, and the water storage capacity reaches 5.38 billion cubic meters. It is the deepest moraine dammed lake in China, and it is an alpine lake located in the dense forest of Altay mountains.

Kanas Lake, like Loch Ness in England, also has the legend of lake monsters. According to legend, a long time ago, Genghis Khan traveled west through Kanas Lake and saw such a beautiful place. He decided to stay here for a while and rest his troops. Genghis Khan drank the lake, especially to quench his thirst, and asked his generals what water it was.

A clever general replied, "This is Kanaus (Mongolian means the water of Khan)." All the soldiers replied in unison: "This is the water of Khan." Genghis Khan said, "Then call this lake Kanaus."

So in the Tuwa legend, they are descendants of Genghis Khan. After the death of Genghis Khan, his body sank in Kanas Lake, and Tuwa people, as the pro-soldiers of Genghis Khan, stayed in Kanas Lake to guard the tomb for generations.

The "Lake Monster" is the "Lake Sage" who defends the undead of Genghis Khan. It is said that horses drinking water by the lake are often dragged into the lake by lake monsters, which adds a bit of mystery.

There are two hiking routes into Kanas. Look at the map.

One is from Baihaba village, passing through Na Ren Ranch, Shuanghu Lake and Baihu Lake, and then walking to the upper reaches of Kanas.

The second one is from Jiadengyu to Black Lake, passing through Tuwa village to the lower reaches of Kanas, but it is very tiring, so foreign tourists generally don't walk.

Secondly, take a bus from the west. First, drive from Baihaba Village to Jiadeng Valley, where there is a shuttle bus to the tourist center. Once again, take the bus from the east, drive from Hemu to Jiadengyu, and then take the shuttle bus to the tourist center to see the scenic spots such as Shenxian Bay and Wolong Bay.

But in both ways, you can't drive into the scenic spot after you arrive at Jiadengyu.

The Kanas scenic spot we usually talk about is actually a big concept, which covers Jiadengyu (actually the ticket center), Kanas

(Wolong Bay, Moon Bay, Shenxian Bay and fish observation platform, which is said to be the place where you can see the lake monsters best, and you can also have a panoramic view of Kanas), Hemu primitive village and Baihaba primitive village. Based on the ticket center of Jiadengyu, Hemu is in the northeast of Jiadengyu, and Kanas and Baihaba are in the northwest of Jiadengyu. No matter which direction you go first, you must return to Jiadengyu before you can go to another direction.

Baihaba Village and Hemu Village are actually very worth visiting. They are the villages of Tuwa people, and the houses with wooden structures are very distinctive.

First of all, Baihaba Village (Baihaba Scenic Area) is called the first village in the northwest and the first sentry in the northwest. It is located in Tiereketi Township, Habahe County, Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang, on the border line between China and Kazakhstan, only 1.5 kilometers away from East Silek, Kazakhstan, and is connected by national defense roads. China Geography rated Baihaba Village as one of the eight most beautiful towns in China, and Tuwa people's unique national costumes, religious worship and customs were also favored by many people.

When you go to Baihaba Village, you will encounter this stone tablet, the Grand Canyon on the Sino-Kazakhstan border, opposite Kazakhstan.

This is the wooden house that enters Baihaba Village. Tuwa people belong to Mongolian people, and they love to use local materials to build houses.

The streams in the village are gurgling, the forest coverage rate is extremely high, and the air quality is quite high.

The above is the scenery around the parking lot of Baihaba Village and the road from the entrance to Jiadengyu. The main thing is sightseeing, or inhaling oxygen in a big mouth, but there is no such treatment in the city.

Hemu Village is next, which is located on the Kanas Lake in Bulinjin County, Xinjiang. It is the concentrated living place of Tuwa people and the farthest and largest of the three remaining Tuwa villages (Hemu Village, Kanas Village and Baihaba Village), with a total area of 3,4 square kilometers.

The houses in Hemu Village are all made of logs, full of primitive flavor. The most striking thing about Hemu Village is the unique natural and cultural landscape formed by the small wooden houses and herds, snow peaks, forests, grasslands, blue sky and white clouds.

These cabins have become the symbol of Tuwa people. Most of the cabins are buried in the soil to resist the severe cold during the closing period of the snow for nearly half a year. They are especially primitive and simple, and have the traditional characteristics of nomadic people.

Generally, the roof is nailed with wooden boards to form a canopy, and the house is made of single-layer logs with a diameter of 3-4 cm, which is both warm and moisture-proof.

You can drift when you play in Hemu Village. Hemu River is 9 kilometers long, which is a combination of "strangeness, preciseness, clearness and seclusion". From the viewing platform, Hemu River drifts like a jade belt in a deep gorge. You can live in Hemu Mountain Villa.

The villa is located in the valley 1 km east of Hemu Village in Hemu Scenic Area, surrounded by glaciers, snow-capped mountains, virgin forests and grassland flowers, and adjacent to Hemutuwa Village, one of the six most beautiful ancient towns and villages in China.

The hotel's facilities are all custom-made all-solid wood furniture with a strong Tuwa style, and are configured according to the standards of four-star hotels, only 2 kilometers away from Harden viewing platform.

Are these wooden houses distinctive, primitive and quaint?

Hemu Villa, Hemu Villa is very pleasant. Here, there are eagles flying at low altitude and clouds floating through the window.

The cabin in the villa has a large floor-to-ceiling window, and there are flowers and snow-capped mountains outside the window.

It's good to be in a daze.

Finally, we come to the highlight-Kanas Lake

On the way to Kanas Lake. Accommodation is very simple, but the price is very high. Just a shabby wooden house in the village costs 5 to 6 yuan, and there is no heating.

Compared with Hemu Mountain Villa, it's almost an underground place. So no matter what month you go to Xinjiang, please take a down jacket at one o'clock! Of course, you can also live in Baihaba village. Baihaba village is a little cheaper, depending on which direction you enter.

Tips2: It's all exaggerated to check the strategy before eating

. Some suggest buying a box of instant noodles, and some suggest putting 5678 naan on it. But in fact, I think the consumption in Baihaba Village and Hemu Village is a bit high, so it is wise to bring something else to eat.

Tips3: others

1. Kanas tickets are 185 (press card, children under 1.2 meters are free of charge), and the shuttle bus can be purchased separately if it enters 1 and enters 13. We live in the scenic spot, so we can buy it. If you live in Jia Dengyu, you'd better buy Erjin. Kanas scenic spot is very large, and there is not enough time to play in one day.

2. The car entering the mountain will go directly to the transfer center without stopping. When going down the mountain, stop at Shenxian Bay, Moon Bay and Wolong Bay in turn for tourists to take pictures.

If you want to take the plank road from Wolong Bay to Moon Bay, you can get off at one stop when you go downhill, and then get off at the next stop. However, it should be noted that the downhill bus is the last one at 2:3, so don't miss it. Taking the shuttle bus down the mountain to check in is regarded as a scenic spot, and you can't sit back. Let's arrange the time reasonably.

3. It's free to change to the bus to Kanas Lake at the transfer center. The shuttle bus to Yutai is round trip 6. It is recommended to climb to the top if the physical strength of the fish-watching platform allows. And if you can get up in the morning, it will be unforgettable to come here to watch the sunrise and the morning fog.
