Plot summary:

The respected old bishop Rosen was murdered. Murder, stabbed 74 times in the body. The police caught young Allen with blood on his hands at the scene. The famous lawyer Martin Weill decided to handle the case. He saw a pale and childish Allen in the detention center. Through conversation, he believed that Allen was innocent and decided to defend him for free.

In court, Will's ex-wife and female prosecutor Rena presented a large amount of evidence against Allen, but Will rejected them one by one. In order to awaken Allen's memory, Will and the psychiatrist interviewed Allen. As the questions deepened and became more severe, Allen began to gradually change from docile to fierce and unreasonable.

Will finally found another boy adopted by Rosen and discovered that the bishop adopted Allen to satisfy his voyeurism. When he went to the detention center to question Allen about this, Allen suddenly seemed like a different person. He called himself "Roy" and admitted that he killed Rosen and protected "Alan". After venting, "Roy" turned back into Allen and had no memory of what had just happened.

Psychiatrists proved in court that Allen suffered from schizophrenia and would turn into the murderer Roy when he was abused to extreme pain, but they could not prove this. When Rena cross-examined Allen, he pressed forward step by step, pointing out that Allen killed the bishop because he was tortured while performing pornographic performances for Bishop Rosen. At this time, Allen jumped out of the dock and turned into Roy. He attacked Rena, grabbing her neck with his hands so violently that the entire courtroom was stunned.

The judge decided to cancel the jury and sentenced Allen to be hospitalized for 30 days of observation and treated by doctors. After the trial, Will goes to visit Alan, who has returned to normal. When parting, Allen asked him to apologize to Rena and asked if her neck was injured. Will agreed casually and then suddenly thought that Allen should not be able to remember anything after the attack. Allen, who was discovered, looked at him and smiled ferociously. Will finally understood that Allen really didn't exist. From the moment Rosen adopted Allen and brought him back to that holy hell, Allen had become Roy forever.
