Everyone who has cycled around Qinghai Lake knows Huyuan Inn because it is the closest inn to Qinghai Lake in a straight line. The hostess of the inn is named Zhuoma, so the locals also call the inn "Dolma's House". Huyuan Inn is located 4.5 kilometers away from *** and Heimahe Township, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, and can be found along the boundary marker of Huxi Highway. On the hillside 200 meters away from the road, there is a two-story red brick building, which is quite impressive. Living in a room on the second floor, you can watch the sunrise over Qinghai Lake without leaving home. During the peak season (June-September), rooms are very popular and there are almost no rooms available unless booked a week in advance. We arrived five hours later than our expected arrival time and kept calling Dolma on the way, for fear that she would rent our room to someone else. We arrived at Dolma's house at almost midnight, but fortunately the room was still reserved for us. I suddenly feel good about the master's trustworthiness. In addition to the red brick building of Zhuoma's house, there are more than a dozen military tents set up. Guests who want to rest and watch the sunrise can spend the night in the tents. The temperature difference between day and night in Qinghai Lake is very large, 30 degrees during the day and 10 degrees at night. Coupled with the heavy dew, it felt very damp and cold. Dolma also rented military coats to protect travelers staying in tents from the cold. The sunrise time is around 06:30 in the morning, and we got up at 06:15. I didn't have time to brush my teeth and wash my face, so I walked to the lake at 06:27, just in time for the sun to jump out of the lake. Spectacular! After sunrise, we went back to the room to wash up. Our room is a standard room with two single beds and a TV cabinet. There is a 17-inch wall-mounted LCD TV but there are no two Chinese programs. There is a bathroom but no hot shower. 200 yuan a night. As far as hardware is concerned, it’s expensive. For the location, it's worth it.
