From Kenting Mountain Line or Sea Line to Hualien-Route recommendation

When you travel to Taiwan Province Province, you must plan your tour route in advance. But there is a question. Is Hualien to Kenting a mountain line or a sea line? This mainly depends on which scenic spots you like. The following small series will introduce two routes. You can choose according to your own preferences. Or increase or decrease according to the recommended route.

The east rift valley from Hualien to Kenting Mountain Line is the so-called mountain line, and Huadong travels vertically from Hualien to Kenting.

The regular route is: Yun Shan Shui in Hualien-Guangfu Sugar Factory in Hualien-Mizuho Ranch-Tropic of Cancer-Brown Avenue-Chishang Bento-Lvye Gao Tai-Duoliang Station-Kenting Street.

If it happens to be flowering when you go, the scenery is still good. Friends who like flowers and plants should not miss it. The most beautiful thing is actually the scenery along the way and the big flowers that can be seen everywhere. Another wonderful advantage of chartered car is that you can stop to take pictures at any time.

The main scenic spots of Hualien-Kenting Sea Line are the Tropic of Cancer, Shihtiping, Shisan, Cape Bamian and other places. This route has been going south along the east China coastline. There are vast seas, strange rocks and beautiful scenery everywhere. If you take this route, the best way to play is to rent a car. It takes at least 10 hour to enjoy the beautiful scenery while playing.

Sea Line: Kenting-Duoliang Station-Fugang Fishing Port-Little yehliu-Sanxi Sendai-Loop Boundary Pillar-Shitiping-Shimen-Baqi-Niu Shan-Hualien.

Whether to take the longitudinal valley line or the coastline depends on your love for the sea. You will also see the coastline after taking the longitudinal valley line to the pool.

The recommended route is from Kenting to Hualien. If you have enough time, you can divide it into two days. On the first night, I will stay at the famous Zhiben Laoye Hot Spring Hotel in Taitung.

So it is equivalent to taking a part of the sea line (back to Little yehliu)+East China Zonggushan Line.

Personally, I think this trip is very reasonable, combining work and rest, and I am very tired after walking the East Rift Valley or the coastline in one day.

DAY 1 Kenting-Taitung recommended itinerary: Duoliang Station, Little yehliu, Jialulan rest area, a rising tide lifts all boats.

The first stop is Duoliang Station.

The most beautiful station on the Taiwan Province coastline is Duoliang Station in taimali township, Taitung County. On the way from Kenting to Taitung, of course, we have to go to the beautiful station of pilgrimage.

Duoliang Station is a small station by the sea. Standing on the platform, you can have a bird's eye view of the Pacific Ocean. When you really get to the station, you really deserve the most beautiful station!

The second stop is Little yehliu.

Yehliu geopark, located in the north of Fugang Fishing Port in Taitung, is the southernmost scenic spot on the east coast. Named for its rich and varied marine erosion landscape, it is comparable to yehliu geopark on the northern coast.

This is definitely a scenic spot that we seriously underestimate! Although not as famous as yehliu on the north coast, it is not so crowded. More people can get close to the seaside directly, appreciate and trample on these strange stones at a very close distance, which has changed a lot but is extremely real, and deeply laments the ingenuity of nature.

The third stop is Jalulan tourist area.

It is a seaside attraction belonging to Donghe Township, Taitung County, on the east coast of Taiwan Province Province, located on the north side of the famous Little yehliu Scenic Area.

At the fourth stop, the water became higher.

There is a saying that "man struggles upwards, and water flows downwards", but there is a farmland irrigation canal here, which is contrary to gravity. The water flows up slowly along the ditch, and there is a stone tablet engraved with "wonders" beside the ditch. In fact, it is because the slope of the scenery on both sides here is greater than the road surface, and the reference object is another steep slope, which causes the illusion that water flows upward.

DAY2 Recommended itinerary for Taitung-Hualien: Gao Tai in Luye, Brown Avenue, Chishang Bento, Tropic of Cancer, Mizuho Ranch, Hualien Sugar Factory in Guangfu Township of Yunshanshui.

The first stop is Gao Tai in Lvye.

The highlight here is paragliding, which has been popularized for more than ten years and attracted many enthusiasts who like flying at high altitude. You can register on the spot, or you can make an appointment online in advance. Whether you can fly smoothly in the end depends on the weather of the day.

The second stop is Brown Street.

It is an idyllic road in Chishang Township, Taitung County, formerly known as Jin Xin No.3 Road. This road divides the fields on both sides into two halves. The charm of Braun Avenue lies in the vast paddy field scenery. When we went in January, the rape blossoms were just in full bloom, and the sea of rape blossoms was a beautiful scenery in the healing department. It was love at first sight. And there are really no telephone poles on both sides of the road.

San Zhan chi Shang fan Bao

This shop is not so much a restaurant as a folk museum. The first floor is the dining place, and the second floor is the bento museum. The furniture is very old. There is a train carriage outside the store, probably to commemorate that the rice bag on the pool originated in the train station, and it can also be eaten in the train carriage.

Fourth stop Tropic of Cancer Monument

There are three historic sites of the Tropic of Cancer in Taiwan Province Province, one of which is located at Hualien Station Line 1 1 70.5km. This white monument is located in the Tropic of Cancer Sign Park, facing the Pacific Ocean in the east, attracting many tourists to take photos here.

The grass is green, and if the sun is shining, the pasture scenery here is more charming. There are ostriches in captivity on the lawn, and sometimes they will come to the fence to interact with you. You can also feed them grass, and see this behemoth at such a close distance.

It feels novel and shocking.

The limited desserts here, such as cheesecake, fresh cheese, nougat and milk ice products, are very popular among tourists.

The sixth stop is Hualien Sugar Factory in Guangfu Township.

Hualien Sightseeing Sugar Factory is located in Guangfu Township, Hualien County, which is rich in sightseeing resources, so it is often called Guangfu Sugar Factory. In the early days, it was an important sugar factory in the east. After shutting down, it was transformed into a sightseeing sugar factory. By integrating the industrial culture, humanities and scenery left over, and taking advantage of the superior geographical location, it has successfully transformed into a cultural leisure sightseeing park and museum. Diversified business model has opened the second spring for Hualien Sugar Factory.

Japanese wooden houses can be seen everywhere in sugar factories. These former staff dormitories were built during the Japanese occupation period and have a history of nearly 80 years. The building structure is elegant and exquisite, even without nails. Due to earthquakes and typhoons, they have been relatively well preserved for many years.
