We arrived at Xizhimen coach station early in the morning, and the frequency of the shuttle bus was quite different from the 20-minute trip I called before. We waited for 40 minutes before leaving. The car is in poor condition, the interior is not very clean, and some people keep smoking in the closed carriage. These are nothing. The car drove along Sanyuanqiao to Shunyi, stopping five or six times to attract passengers, and once it actually stopped for more than 20 minutes. In this way, it was already 1: 40 pm when we arrived in Chengde.

Gan Yang Hotel booked from Ctrip. Com (also introduced in the travel notes) is really good, the price is moderate, 258 RMB per night, double morning. The checkout speed is very slow, and the waiter's response is also very slow, which makes people anxious. Chengde is a small city, and the summer resort occupies half of the area, so it won't be too far to live anywhere. I also referred to the yurt hotel in the villa introduced by some netizens, which can really save the tickets for the villa (necessarily the museum), but we are all people who are eager for comfortable accommodation and still live outside.

As we arrived in Chengde later than expected, we temporarily changed our plans and went to Waiba Temple first. In fact, we only saw Putuo Zongcheng Temple and Little Potala Palace. Several temples and golden roofs are really worth seeing. We also invited a tour guide, because she was the last guest to visit, and she only asked us 10 yuan. Later, I found that she gave us less explanations than others, but in such a place with strong cultural and historical atmosphere, it is best to have a tour guide. The commercial atmosphere in the temple is already very strong. No matter where you go, someone will give you a lecture and tell you "give up" and "give up and you will get it"

In the evening, I went to Gan Long Dumpling House in the central square, which should be a relatively large local restaurant. There seems to be nothing special except mushrooms and venison. Then we went to other restaurants. By contrast, this one is relatively clean.

The appearance of Chengde is not very clean, which is a bit out of place with the tourist city. The temperature is not much lower than that in Beijing.

I went to the summer resort early the next morning. In order to see all the mountains, lakes and plains in half a day, we took a battery car. It's best to have a tour guide in such a place, but we can also listen wherever we go, just like the two of us, and it's fast. During the two days we went, it rained and cooled in Beijing and Chengde. After going up the mountain, I feel cooler and more lush. Compared with the imperial gardens such as the Summer Palace and Yuanmingyuan in Beijing, the lake area and the peace plain at the foot of the mountain are nothing special, so personally, the unique mountainous area is worth seeing. It's best to walk slowly in it for a day.

It is worth noting that in the vicinity of the summer resort, there are always local people who say they want to take guests in, 1 and hand them over to 60 yuan. But there will be 50 museum tickets after entering the park. In this way, it is not worthwhile at all. Don't be cheated.

I learned a lesson when I came and went back to Beijing to buy a train ticket. Although I caught up with the bad luck that I couldn't stop at the station for many times, I still felt that the train was cleaner than the car.

In short, Chengde, as a weekend resort around Beijing, is still worth visiting. All unhappiness is the embellishment of the journey. Don't let it affect your relaxed mood. This is universally applicable.
