While studying the tourist attractions in Liupanshui city, I stumbled upon a third-line construction museum in Shuicheng ancient town, next to Liupanshui Museum. So we plan to visit the ancient town of Shuicheng in June 1 1 and build a museum on the third line. There is a Fengchi Garden Park next to the ancient city, and we booked the Accord Hotel next to the park.

Shuicheng ancient town is not a real ancient town, but a new house modeled on the "Soviet-style" architectural style in the 1950s and 1960s. There are many slogans hanging on the walls of restaurants with people's commune canteen style. Walk along Shiban Street, the ancient city is not big, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk around. No famous mutton restaurant in Liupanshui was found in the ancient town, mainly a hot pot restaurant. Finally, a restaurant specializing in donkey meat was chosen, which tasted ordinary.

The next morning, we walked through the ancient city and visited the Third Line Construction Museum, which is a three-story exhibition area in the city. Maybe it's too early, there are only two people in the museum, or maybe people are not interested in the museum. In domestic tourism, many adult tourists rarely visit museums, thinking that it is a place for teenagers. I feel that western tourists are more interested in museums, and China people seldom visit museums specifically. In fact, in addition to natural scenery, the most important thing for humanistic tourism is to visit museums. Only museums can understand the local nationalities, folk customs, economy, history and culture. Tourism only appreciates the natural scenery and does not understand the culture, which is equivalent to only feeling the beautiful appearance, but not the inner soul.

Third-line construction has laid a solid industrial foundation for the great national strategy of western development in the new century. The material heritage left by the third-line construction is still the foundation for China to implement the western development and promote the "Belt and Road". It can be said that the third-line construction is a "prelude" to the development of the western region.

Many of them came to the depths of the mountains from big cities in developed areas, took root here, gave their youth and "gave their youth to future generations".
