Is the sound and feel of an electric piano different from that of a real piano?
Differences: First, the way of touching keys is different.
One of the key points in learning piano performance is the way of touching keys-the volume, the timbre, the independence and sensitivity of fingers, the support of metacarpal joints and the stability of wrists are all related to touching keys with fingers. Few people teach themselves the piano, and the role of teachers is very important. Only by repeated training under the guidance of teachers for a long time can we have an accurate sense of touching keys. If you practice with the electronic piano at the beginning, experts will go back to practice this "kung fu" sooner or later after playing the piano, because there is no accumulation of touch.
Second, the intensity (strength) changes differently.
The reason why the electronic organ is different from the piano is that it has no strings, springs and other vocal organs that can vibrate and produce different amplitudes of audio according to the vibration frequency. That is to say, the electronic organ is generated by electronic equipment, which has nothing to do with the force control of fingers and the way of touching keys. If you want to change the volume gradually, you can only control the specially added buttons with your fingers, but its limitations are obvious. For example, if you want to emphasize the high-pitched part of a chord, the electronic organ can't do it, because no matter how hard you use your fingers, which muscle you use, what playing method you use, and whether the keys are slow or fast, the timbre and effect you get are not exactly the same. Piano is different. The piano is essentially a percussion instrument. As long as the vibration amplitude of the strings is controlled by external force, the volume and timbre of the sound can be controlled. Therefore, when children use different forces, the vibration amplitude of strings will be directly affected. Even if they hit the keys at different speeds or in different playing methods, different finger movements will drive the corresponding string striking machine to hit the steel wire. At this time, as long as the children use different muscles and strength, it will directly affect the vibration amplitude of the strings. From these aspects, it is ineffective and useless to train children's basic skills with electronic pianos with different key-touching methods, fingering, strength, playing methods and speed.
Third, it has different values for left-handed training.
Piano playing pays attention to the independence and cooperation of both hands. Through the operation of both hands, the piano can have the nature of band sound effect, so the ability of playing independently with the left hand is very high. The left hand not only has to press a key to make a sound, but also can operate independently and flexibly like the right hand, and sometimes even has to bear the heavy responsibility of expressing melody.
The electronic organ is different, because it has the function of automatic chord accompaniment (single-finger accompaniment and multi-finger accompaniment), when playing a song. The left hand can automatically synthesize many harmonies by pressing one or several notes at the same time. Adding a chord or broken chord, the electronic organ will change a series of rhythms according to the rhythm type you choose, and even change the harmony needed for the music you play. That is to say, the left-handed playing method of electronic organ is very simple, and a simple tone, chord or set key can automatically change rich content. In other words, the left hand is just doing a simple and single movement, and it is too simple for the left hand to run and train various styles of play.
Fourth, the requirements for finger initiative are different.
Although the keyboard structure of electronic organ seems to be the same as that of piano, the requirements for fingers are completely different. The keys of the electronic organ are very light and soft, and the fingers can make sounds without great force, so there is no so-called strength when playing the electronic organ. However, playing the piano is different. The whole set of mechanical generating device makes the touch of piano keyboard extremely rich. In addition, piano works need delicate strength control, so the player's fingers should have both strength and flexible direction. Therefore, in the early stage of children's piano learning, parents had better practice piano for their children more, so as to avoid children's fear of difficulties due to the inadaptability of the electronic piano to the piano, thus losing their interest in learning.
If you want your child to finally learn the piano, then I suggest that it is best not to start with the electronic piano, because what you learn has nothing to do with the piano except the beat and music theory. When children learn the piano, many playing methods are almost "reinventing", which is obviously useless. As the saying goes, "changing clothes is more difficult than making clothes." When I use the piano in class at the teacher's house, I practice with the electronic organ at home, and I go back to class at the teacher's house next class ... Every time I switch between two instruments with completely different hands, it's hard for children not to be confused. What is even more frightening is that the gameplay can't be implemented at home and can't return to class as required, which greatly affects the learning progress. If the teacher takes care of you because you practice the electronic piano and doesn't teach the piano, then more than half of the piano tuition you pay in each class will be wasted. Therefore, parents are advised to practice the piano whatever their children learn, otherwise the "ABAB" learning mode will never let them learn that you want to watch the real piano performance.
