In that year, 407 boxes of cigarettes were produced, with a profit and tax of 545,500 yuan. In April, 1959, 36 technicians from Shanghai, 43 sets of main equipment and 2 sets of newly added auxiliary equipment came to Yuxi. On May 4th, the factory was officially commissioned to produce cigarettes, and then the name of the factory was changed to "Yuxi Cigarette Factory". On the eve of the National Day in the same year, in order to present a gift to the 10th anniversary of the National Day, "Hongtashan" brand cigarettes were created. In 1960, Yuxi Cigarette Factory recovered 3,489 tons of flue-cured tobacco leaves and produced122,300 boxes of cigarettes, accounting for about one thirtieth of the national total output in that year, achieving a tax profit of 33.28 million yuan, making it one of the largest cigarette manufacturers in China.

In order to speed up the expansion and keep up with the development of national construction, the reconstruction and expansion project was completed in just over 50 days from1October1958165438+February 65438. The three workshops are orderly: one workshop is responsible for shredding tobacco leaves, the second workshop is responsible for producing cigarettes, the third workshop is responsible for packaging cigarettes, and the redrying plant has become a redrying workshop.

Yuxi cigarette factory has basically built a comprehensive medium-sized tobacco processing enterprise. This period is divided into four stages, from 1979 to 1983. After 1979, the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government chose tobacco as the key industry supported by Yunnan Province, which created a good development opportunity for Yuxi Cigarette Factory. During this period, with the help of state funds, through four technological transformations, the scale of enterprises has been continuously expanded and the productivity has been continuously improved. At the same time, through the reform of the distribution system, the enthusiasm of the broad masses of workers has been mobilized. Compared with 1978, the cigarette output increased from 274,900 cases to 464,500 cases, with an average growth of 1 1.06% in five years, and the profit and tax increased to 230 million yuan.

The departure time is 1984 to 1988.
