What are the components of the sewage system?

It depends on the specific use.

Taking the domestic sewage system as an example, it is mainly composed of sanitary ware, sanitary ware drainage pipe, horizontal pipe, vertical pipe, drainage pipe, ventilation pipe (auxiliary ventilation pipe), dredging and water sealing fittings.

(1) Sanitary ware: it is an appliance for containing sewage. There are many kinds of sanitary wares because of their different functions. Commonly used sanitary wares include toilet, urinal, washbasin, furniture basin, bathtub, washbasin, laboratory basin, mop pool, shower and so on.

(2) Sanitary ware drainage pipe: it is the connecting pipe between sanitary ware and horizontal drainage pipe, mainly including trap, floor drain, drainage box and its connecting pipe with water seal function. Water seal can isolate odor.

(3) Horizontal pipe: it is a horizontal pipe connecting the drain pipe of sanitary ware and is responsible for connecting it to the drainage riser. Horizontal pipes should have sufficient slope. It is an easily blocked pipe section in the sewage system.

(4) Riser: it is a vertical pipe connecting horizontal horizontal pipes of all floors, and sewage is connected to the drainage pipe through the riser.

(5) Sewage discharge pipe: the sewage is discharged from the riser to the pipe section between the first manhole outdoors, and the discharge pipe needs to pass through the foundation or external wall of the building.

(6) Cleaning and dredging fittings: Because the horizontal pipe is the easily blocked section of the sewage system, there are cleaning fittings on the horizontal pipe, such as the ground cleaning port and the horizontal pipe cleaning port, and there are vertical pipe inspection ports on the vertical pipe, which are generally set every other floor.

(7) Vent pipe: It is mainly composed of vent riser, vent cap and auxiliary vent pipe.
