How to install the hotel wireless network?

The whole process is meticulous and complicated, and every link should be paid attention to to avoid mistakes.

The specific installation method is as follows:

1. Hotel wireless coverage demand analysis.

1) The hotel has a regular layout, which needs to meet the wireless coverage of all rooms without blind areas;

2) The hotel is well wired, and the AP adopts 86-type panel design, making full use of the existing wiring cassette;

3) Considering the later development needs of the hotel, the network equipment should have good scalability and support diversified marketing needs such as subsequent WEB authentication, SMS authentication and WeChat authentication;

4) When the wireless terminal needs to move, the access point will be automatically switched, and the network will not be disconnected, that is, wireless roaming;

5) Hotel decoration is high-end, AP appearance should be beautiful and generous, support PoE power supply, and meet fire protection and wiring requirements;

6)AP supports unified management and configuration, monitors the working status of each AP in real time, and facilitates operation and maintenance.

2. Determine the network topology type.

This piece is basically a formula design, and only stability needs to be considered at the level of network topology, such as the basic formula in the figure below.

3. Installation and deployment-lobby

The specific installation and deployment should take into account the space structure and use requirements of each room. The following figure shows the deployment of the lobby. The lobby is relatively empty and there are few barriers. The ceiling AP covers a diameter of 20-30m in the open environment. Two or three APS can be arranged in the lobby of small and medium-sized hotels according to the specific structure, and the lobby of large hotels can be appropriately increased.

4. Installation and deployment-Dining room

Hotel restaurants are relatively empty, with few barriers. They can be deployed according to the scale of restaurants and the coverage of AP on the ceiling, and the locations are evenly distributed, as shown in the following figure.

5. Installation and Deployment-Guest Room

The access environment of guest rooms is dense and there are many walls, so the attenuation of wireless signals is relatively large. The AP team suggested deploying one in each room. As shown in the figure below:

Step 6 choose equipment

The establishment of a stable and practical wireless network requires the selection of appropriate networking equipment. A complete wireless network solution includes routers, switches, PoE devices, AP, AC controllers and other devices. Due to the different scale and requirements, the equipment required in different hotel network schemes may be different.

7. Installation and debugging.

Before the official operation of the hotel, it is necessary to ensure that the wireless AP runs for more than 48 hours without failure.
