Can Chinese citizens use passports issued by their own country to check into hotels?

Chinese citizens can use their passports issued by their country to check into the hotel. When filling in the document type, there are three options: ID card, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan relative visit permit, and passport.

Document requirements:

1. For Chinese citizens living in the territory, it is a resident identity card; for members of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, it is a military identity card; for Chinese People’s Armed Police, it is an armed police identity Documents; for residents of Hong Kong and Macao, it is a mainland travel permit for Hong Kong and Macao residents; for Taiwan residents, it is a travel permit for Taiwan residents to and from the mainland; for foreign citizens, it is a passport;

2. How many people are staying must provide valid documents. One person is guaranteed to have one certificate;

3. If a man and a woman stay in the same room, a marriage certificate is required. Specific requirements for other documents are subject to hotel regulations.
