Introduction to Hainan Dadonghai Tourist Area

Hainan Dadonghai Tourist Area is located between Yulingang and Luhuitou, 3 kilometers away from downtown Sanya. The crescent-shaped bay is about 2 kilometers long and was opened to the outside world in 1985. In 1992, it and Yalong Bay were rated among the top 40 national tourism projects by the National Tourism Administration. The vast sea surface is as crystal clear as a mirror, and only the white sand can be seen. The sunshine, clear water, beach, and green trees constitute a beautiful and typical tropical scenery. The water here is like spring all year round, and the water is warm and the sand is flat. Even in the winter when dripping water turns to ice in the North, the water temperature here remains between 18 degrees and 22 degrees. It is an ideal winter swimming resort and an ideal place for vacationers to go sightseeing, sea bathing, and sunbathing. Therefore, it is called: "natural bathing place and winter swimming resort". Dadonghai is surrounded by mountains on three sides and the sea on one side. Rows of green coconut trees surround the beach. The water temperature in winter is around 18-22°C. The area has complete seaside resort tourism facilities, including hotels of different styles, large seaside plazas, sightseeing submarines, diving and diving bases, and a variety of water activities and beach sports all year round. It is currently a large-scale tropical seaside tourist resort in Hainan. .
