Which is the first workers' union building in China?

The first workers' union building in China is the home of China workers. The All-China Federation of Trade Unions Building was built in 1955, with 8 floors. It is a collective memory that generations of Beijingers can't erase. Until the 1980s, this building still stood proudly, and all bus stops were called "Trade Union Building", which was the most striking landmark in Fuxingmen area.

However, on September 9, 2003, the former All-China Federation of Trade Unions building damaged in the 1976 Tangshan earthquake was directionally blasted. Because the old building is close to Chang 'an Avenue, the underground of the building is along the Beijing subway, and dozens of meters behind it is the "China Workers' Home". The blasting environment is complex and the technical requirements are very high, so it is called "the first explosion on Chang 'an Avenue".

In 2008, the new office building of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions was located in the original site of Phoenix Nirvana, with a spectacular height of nearly 100 meters, which is more contemporary.
