The first workers' union building in China is the home of China workers. The All-China Federation of Trade Unions Building was built in 1955, with 8 floors. It is a collective memory that generations of Beijingers can't erase. Until the 1980s, this building still stood proudly, and all bus stops were called "Trade Union Building", which was the most striking landmark in Fuxingmen area.

However, on September 9, 2003, the former All-China Federation of Trade Unions building damaged in the 1976 Tangshan earthquake was directionally blasted.
