Tiger Leaping Gorge is located on which river in China.

Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area (Tiger Leaping Gorge Natural Scenic Area) in Jinsha River, located in Tiger Leaping Gorge Town, Shangri-La City, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, is divided into three sections: jumping tiger, jumping tiger and jumping tiger. It is one of the deepest canyons in China. The south bank of Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area is Yulong Snow Mountain, with the main peak at an altitude of 5,596 meters, and the Haba Snow Mountain on the north bank at an altitude of 5,396 meters. Bound by the mountains on both sides, the river flows into a canyon only 50 meters wide, and the tiger and leopard at the narrowest place jump over it, hence the name Tiger Leaping Gorge. The canyon is 80 kilometers away from downtown Lijiang. Located in the upper reaches of Jinsha River, it has a total length of 17km, a circuitous road of 25km, and a vertical height difference of more than 3,900 meters. It is one of the deepest canyons in the world. Due to the landslide, boulders were left today, which made the water situation more turbulent. In June 2009, Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area passed the evaluation of National Tourism Administration and became a national AAAA-level scenic spot.
