Ctrip Compensation Rules for In-store No Rooms

Customers book hotels through the online platform. After submitting the order and successfully booking, it indicates that the customer has established a contractual relationship with the platform or the hotel. If the hotel receives an order but fails to provide accommodation, or other accommodation conditions are inconsistent with the reservation, the customer has the right to claim triple compensation; if the accommodation provided is better or the same as the reservation specifications after negotiation between the two parties, the customer has no right to claim. Similarly, if a problem with the platform results in the hotel not receiving the order and the customer having no room to stay, the customer has the right to claim compensation from the platform. Legal Basis Article 577 of the People's Republic of China and Civil Code If a party liable for breach of contract fails to perform its contractual obligations or performs its contractual obligations inconsistently with the agreement, it shall be liable for breach of contract such as continuing to perform, taking remedial measures, or compensating for losses.
