How can a resort be unique? The answer is here!
This resort hotel, which integrates landscape, architecture and art, covers an area of 9.8 hectares of coastal site and adapts to its unique terrain structure. The key point of the design concept is to create a series of remarkable volumes with the help of the organic form that echoes with the waves, and finally realize the integration of the building and the surrounding environment. The selection of materials, plants and construction methods was carefully and deeply studied.
Ensure that the project can be fully integrated into this beautiful venue. The project aims to provide accommodation and leisure destinations for Mexican and global tourists, covering hotels, apartments, restaurants, spas, entertainment facilities, venues, museums and open-air squares.
The site where the hotel is located is very steep, rising from the sea level to the north. Based on this topographical feature, the architect decided to build a three-story east-west arc platform along the coast and set the hotel at the westernmost end of the platform. The platforms are connected by narrow walkways, and different functional spaces are divided by dense plants to ensure good privacy.

Each platform gradually rises with the terrain, and the south elevation ensures that every space can enjoy spectacular sea views. The ground floor of the building is equipped with swimming pool, beach club, sunbathing leisure area and other entertainment facilities, which are connected with the beach. The entrance floor is set in the main building, and three volumes are stacked together, which gives the building a strong organic and dynamic feeling. Each volume contains two floors, and the rooms are distributed on the sixth floor of the whole hotel. The volume of the building is well integrated with the surrounding environment, which not only brings a better view to the interior of the building, but also makes the building unique in modeling.

The apartments owned by the hotel are located on the south side of the site and distributed in three squares. Various types of rooms have formed a harmonious relationship with hillsides and beaches. People can enter the hotel from the lobby courtyard, and feel the soft transition from the natural environment to the indoor space in the process. Tropical wood and textiles with Mexican characteristics create a warm and exquisite atmosphere, and the strip lines of stones give each room a unique and modern aesthetic feeling.

A lot of artistic intervention in space is also one of the characteristics of the hotel. Mexican artist Cesar López Negrete created and exhibited more than 400 works of art here, paying tribute to the history and culture of Baja California. His artistic views are presented at both the micro (guest room) and macro (square and public space) levels of the hotel, which forms a complementary response with the space and even the venue of the hotel.

The uniqueness of solarz los cabos Hotel is also reflected in the landscape. The construction team cooperated with Gabayet101Paisaje to complete the landscape design, and selected different plants according to the different uses and characteristics of each space. In this way, architecture and landscape form a harmonious relationship with external sidewalks, corridors, outdoor facilities, lobbies, restaurants and green roofs facing the coast. The greening area presents similar characteristics to the local plant landscape.
