The Second Hospital of Shenyang Medical University affiliated to China Medical University is a modern large-scale comprehensive and digital teaching hospital with a total construction area of 440,000 square meters. The hospital was formerly the first western medicine hospital in Northeast China, namely Shengjingshi Hospital, which was built by the English Church of Scotland in Shenyang in 1883. 1948 was taken over by China medical university and renamed as the second affiliated hospital of China medical university; 1969 moved to Chaoyang area in western Liaoning; 1978, medical teams moved back to Shenyang one after another; 1980 merged with the Third Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University to be called the Second and Third Affiliated Hospitals of China Medical University.
