He was determined to return to his hometown, put his money into the domestic construction market and started a sand business in Zhuhai. Unfortunately, due to inexperience and various reasons, business is in trouble. All the investment went up in smoke. When Chen was in pain, he remembered his mother's teaching, and he could lose if he could. Facing the reality, he didn't lose heart and decided to start from scratch. 1980 returned to Macao to engage in the construction industry. At that time, I was involved in foundation works of many construction sites, sewer works of Yiyuan kennel, and expressway in several outlying islands. From 65438 to 0990, Chen expanded his business and bought new office buildings, which were officially named as "Chen Construction Company" and "Fuyingfa Construction Real Estate Company". Since then, the name Chen has gradually become familiar to Macao people.

1At the beginning of 993, Chen saw the development opportunity of the Pearl River Delta and set up a factory in Wuyi, Jiangmen. He cooperated with American villager Zhang Niushun for the first time to establish "Xinmei Real Estate Co., Ltd.". Their actions have been strongly supported by the local government and relevant departments. First, we invested 60 million Hong Kong dollars to build the "Guoshun Hotel" at the bridgehead of Licun Village in Jiangmen City. In the same year, Chen was optimistic about the prospect of reform and opening up in his hometown of overseas Chinese and continued to invest heavily in large projects.
