Legal basis "Measures for the Administration of Public Security in Hotel Industry"

Article 14 The duties of public security organs in the public security management of hotels are to guide and supervise the establishment of various safety management systems in hotels, implement safety precautions, assist hotels in training staff in safety business knowledge, and punish criminals who infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of hotels and passengers according to law. When performing official duties in hotels, public security personnel should show their certificates, act in strict accordance with the law, treat people with civility and courtesy, and safeguard the normal operation of hotels and the legitimate rights and interests of passengers. Hotel staff and passengers should give assistance.

Fifteenth people's police perform their duties according to law. In case of any of the following circumstances, you can check the resident identity card after showing your law enforcement certificate:

(1) It is necessary to ascertain the identity of the criminal suspect;

(two) when implementing on-site control according to law, it is necessary to find out the identity of the relevant personnel;

(3) It is necessary to find out the identity of the relevant personnel at the scene in case of an emergency that seriously endangers social order;

(four) during major events in railway stations, long-distance bus stations, ports, docks, airports or places designated by the Municipal People's government, it is necessary to find out the identity of the relevant personnel;

(five) other circumstances required by law.

In any of the circumstances listed in the preceding paragraph, if the people's police refuse to examine the resident identity card, they shall take measures to deal with it in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
