Lang Sui, the editor of "Xinghua Village Chronicles", was himself a native of Xinghua Village, Guichi. During the Kangxi period, he entered Taixue from Zhusheng. He was erudite and talented. Beginning in the 13th year of Yin (1674), he drafted and compiled "Xinghua Village Chronicles". After 11 years, it was completed in the 24th year of Kangxi Yichou (1685). In addition to the main text, there are 14 general pictures (Scenery of Xinghua Village), sub-pictures (i.e. Twelve Scenes) and "Du Mu's Spring Tour". "Xinghua Village Chronicles" was later reviewed by Ji Yun, the chief compiler of "Sikuquanshu" and a bachelor, and others, and wrote the "Summary" "Xinghua Village Chronicles in twelve volumes.
