An analysis of the ending of the Korean film Barbie

Barbie's ending is meaningful, and the open ending is for the audience to imagine: the ending of the two bags echoes the beginning of the film. If you think that human nature is evil, you can think that Zhi has disappeared and become a victim of saving another flower-like child's life.

If you think that human nature is good, you can imagine that Barbie and her father finally gave up taking Shunza back to the United States and let her return to a loving family, though unhappy.

In the last scene of the movie, two suitcases are being checked. One is Barbie's schoolbag, and the other is Barbie's father's suitcase. There is no straight suitcase.
