Liaocheng’s latest free public transportation policy:

Liaocheng People’s Government issued a notice aimed at promoting citizens to jointly create a harmonious, smooth and green urban traffic order. The main urban area of ??Liaocheng City will implement a policy of free public transportation for citizens from November 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024.

According to the "Notice (Draft)", the free bus routes cover all urban bus routes in the city's main urban area. This includes 53 urban bus lines, 5 poverty alleviation bus lines, 2 rural bus operation lines operated by Liaocheng Public Transport Group, as well as K602, K603, K607 and K608 bus lines operated by Liaocheng Transportation Group.

The implementation of this policy will undoubtedly provide great travel convenience for citizens, and further reflects the government's emphasis on and support for the construction of public transportation facilities. In order to provide citizens with more convenient public transportation options during peak hours and travel periods, Liaocheng City also plans to extend the departure time of the last bus on bus lines passing through the city's main roads.

Specifically, the last bus departure time of K2 bus line will be extended to 20:50, the last bus departure time of K6 bus line will be extended to 20:20, and the last bus departure time of K7 bus line will be extended to 20:00. In addition, the departure time of the last train on other lines will also be extended accordingly based on actual passenger flow conditions.
