Blue Caribbean Travel Notes: A trip to Negril, Jamaica

Although the whole island is small, it takes four nights and five days according to the go on road travel route I designed in advance.

Walk around the island, take the southern route on the first day, stay in Negril, a tourist resort in the west of the island, stay in Ochorios in the north of the island for the second and third nights, and return to Kingston from the east of the island on the fourth day.

Although the destination is very important, the journey is more important to me, which is why I want to go to negri. From Kingston to Negril, it will pass through five provincial capitals and cross the whole southern Jamaica. Only such a trip can we have a general understanding of Jamaica. Returning from the east of the island, you will pass by the eastern region where tourists are scarce. Practice has proved that the trip around the island has given me an all-round appreciation of the charm of the Caribbean. The mountains, plains, rainforests, wetlands and other landforms along the way are diverse, and the vegetation along the way has quietly changed, which is beautiful.

Cars are marching in the embrace of nature, green eyes are crowded into the window, and the city is left behind by me. I was so excited that I almost cried. If I am the only one in the car, I think I will stop by the side of the road and slowly calm myself down. The car left Kingston for the west, and those black towns suddenly came and died. I see on the map that the terrain of mandeville is very high, and the cars are coming up gradually, with gentle slopes, but there is no danger at all. Mandeville is the highest city in Jamaica. It is famous for its coolness. Unexpectedly, the small town is sparsely dotted with several ridges, and the beautiful houses of rich people are hidden in flowers and trees. No matter from which angle, there is no bare land in this city. Although it is not by the sea, the beauty is the same. After passing through mandeville City, the highway slowly approached the sea again. How can I describe this beautiful Caribbean? This place, once hailed as "paradise" by Columbus, is now home to blacks. At this time, if we go back to history, what kind of feelings should we have for the white colonists?

At noon, we drove to Negril. Negril is a tourist virgin land that has only been known to the world in recent years. It is located in the west of Jamaica Island, where the most famous is the 7-mile-long white beach. Along the beach, countless hotels of all sizes have been built. There are not many indigenous people in Negril, all of whom are tourists. We live seven miles south, and the hotel has a private beach. No sooner had I put down my luggage and put on my swimming trunks than someone appeared on the beach.

It was not a weekend and there were few tourists. The white sand beach is as soft as powder and extremely comfortable to step on. There are several different colors of the sea. It is light near the beach, sapphire blue 35 meters away, dark blue 30 to 50 meters away and purple in the distance. This beautiful ocean is unique to tropical coral reef areas. All the islands in the Caribbean are surrounded by similar waters. If you look down from the plane, it is no exaggeration to compare the Caribbean islands to pearls, even more beautiful than pearls.

Negril claimed to be the "leisure capital" and wrote it on the public welfare billboard on the roadside. This name gives people unlimited imagination and can be translated into "leisure capital" or "casual capital". However, for Negril, you can explain it in any way and it will satisfy you here. When you go to Negril, it's like going to the ends of the earth. You don't have to think about anything. You can lie on the bench on the beach and chat with your friends. I stared at the sky alone. No matter in the morning or at night, there are many people resting on the beach here.

Negril is also the favorite sex tourism destination for white people in Europe and America. Those rich young women can find Caribbean men they like in any bar. You can accompany me or stay overnight. As long as the price is settled, the service will always be first-class. Visitors to Negril meet here, and the air here is very relaxed. No one will be surprised by a one-night stand. In the morning after the passion, you go north, she goes south, and Negril is as calm as ever, as if nothing happened. The cultural heritage of Negril's early years is still inherited today. People who are against the mainstream culture like Negril, just like the collective nude wedding on the beach, which is tolerated in Negril.

In the evening, I asked a black driver to drive to the most famous Rick cafe in Negril. There are few people in the street, but the courtyard of the cafe is crowded with people. There was a fjord, and the warriors jumped high and jumped into the blue sea. Someone climbed the cliff and jumped down, about tens of meters high, which attracted tourists to sigh. After dinner, I lay alone on the beach watching the starry sky. At this time, Negril was as quiet as a girl, comforting all the people in her arms with the sea breeze and warmth.
