Seeking an economical and fun Xi 'an self-help tour.

1, scenic spots

The Terracotta Warriors must go. Although I can't see why, history is concentrated here. You'd better find a narrator at the entrance to the Terracotta Warriors. They are all listed services. Take bus 305 and 306 from Xi 'an to Lintong. It is recommended to buy a round-trip bus ticket to save money. Moreover, in Lintong, you can take a bus from the Terracotta Warriors and Horses to Huaqing Pool without spending money, and you can get all the passes, and there is no shift restriction, which is very practical. Huaqingchi has a good original appearance, but the construction in recent years has destroyed its original style. If you have time, you can also visit this big bathhouse in the Tang Dynasty. It is enough to hint at the prospect of Qin Shihuang's mausoleum. It's just a big earthen bag with history buried. It really doesn't mean much. Of course, if you really want to spend more money, there is no way! Other scenic spots along the way are man-made scenic spots, so don't look at any of them. It is recommended not to stay and eat in Lintong, which is too expensive and inconvenient (and often dies). Bring some water and bread at noon, and you'd better go back to Xi 'an to eat and live. If this road is fast, you can go back to the city before 3 pm, or you can go to other scenic spots in the city. If you have more time, you can tell the driver on the way back to Xi 'an that you will go to Banpo after getting off the expressway and get off near Janssen Pharmaceutical Company. It's not far to Banpo Museum by taxi.

Note: From Xi 'an to Terracotta Warriors and Horses: the round-trip taxi price is 200 yuan (slightly more expensive on holidays), the model is Jetta or Fukang, and the round-trip time (including sightseeing) is 7 hours.

Scenic spots in the city

There is a 6 10 tourist shuttle bus in Xi' an, which connects most scenic spots in Xi' an. The train station is the starting point of the bus, and there are these scenic spots along the way. Office of the Eighth Route Army (revolutionary education base, where Premier Zhou lived during the Anti-Japanese War)-Mosque (where the Drum Tower and Bell Tower are also located)-Little Wild Goose Pagoda (where the Tang Priest once translated scriptures, but it was much quieter than the Big Wild Goose Pagoda)-Daxing Mountain Temple (where you get off and walk 200 meters to the west, a famous Buddhist temple)-Shaanxi History Museum (full of cultural relics, the best place for friends and dealers who like cultural relics). After visiting Daxing Mountain Temple, you don't need to take a bus. Go east along the road, cross the road and walk for 400 meters to the back door of the History Museum, just around the main entrance.)-The Big Wild Goose Pagoda (a symbol of Xi 'an) is also the location of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, but there are many people, so it is meaningless to suggest not going to the Pagoda.)-Qin Wangdian (the terminal, Xiying is an artificial landscape built for filming for many years, so it is best not to go),/kloc- If you are a fan of burning incense and worshipping Buddha, Seiryuji is worth visiting. This temple is not famous among China people, but it is the root of Japanese Buddhism. Six of the eight ambassadors of the Tang Dynasty were sent here to study Buddhism, but the traffic here was not ideal. It is more convenient to take a taxi from the South Second Ring Road. You can also get off at the train station or Li Jiacun and walk for five minutes. If you really want to know about Xi 'an, besides these scenic spots, there are several places worth visiting: the eastern suburb of Xi 'an is a famous textile city in Xi 'an in the 1950s and 1960s. Now it is no longer prosperous, but it still symbolizes a period of history. You can take minibus 508 or 40 1 to the Textile City, and the fare from downtown is around 3 yuan. There is also Xi 'an Satellite TT&C Center on Xianning East Road, which is the cradle and center of China aviation industry. If you want to visit it, you'd better get in touch with the center after going to Xi 'an. Meanwhile, Yanliang Aircraft City in the north of Xi is one of the two major aircraft production bases in China. Now another place worth visiting is Xi Xi High-tech Development Zone, which has begun to take shape and presents another flavor of this ancient city. There are buses (608) to the high-tech zone at the railway station, the bell tower and the south gate.

There are many other historical sites, but few of them are worth visiting, such as Daming Palace site (there is really nothing to see in farmland and earthen bags) and Chang 'an City site in Han Dynasty. And they are all in the suburbs, and the traffic is inconvenient unless you ride a bike.

Outside the city, the scenic spot worth seeing should be Ganling on the northwest line. This is the tomb of Wu Zetian and Tang Gaozong, which is very spectacular. It is called the Oriental Pyramid. It's more than 2 hours' drive from downtown. There is a special tour bus at the railway station (don't take a private car). You can also go to Panjiacun Bus Station outside Yuxiangmen (cheaper than 10 yuan, with more cars) and Chengxi Bus Station. Remember to take the bus at the station. Or take a long-distance bus to Binxian, Changwu and Yongshou and get off at Ganling to get there directly (this method is not suitable for holidays).

Needless to say, the eastern line is Huashan. The best time to climb Huashan Mountain is from May to 65438+10. * * There are three routes. The cable car is the best route for people going downhill and those with poor physical strength. Challenge yourself and take the road of outsmarting Huashan. The last route is the one that everyone takes. It's best to take a train from Xi 'an to Huashan in the evening, so that you can watch the sunrise when you climb to the top of the mountain, and you can return to Xi 'an early after watching the sunrise. But this is all your experience as a student, and your physical strength and energy are good. Now you still need to test it, so it is estimated that the problem is not big.

Famen Temple on the West Line is worth a visit (even if you are not interested in Buddhism). Famen Temple is a royal temple, which is famous for its precious cultural relics. If you stay in Xi 'an for long, you can go to Taibai Mountain in two days. There is snow on the top of the mountain in June. At the same time, Taibai Mountain has also become a "training base" for many mountaineering enthusiasts. However, if you take a non-tourist route for mountaineering exploration, you must pay attention to safety. Sudden weather and difficult roads are the biggest obstacles.

There are many scenic spots in the northern line, mainly including Hancheng, known as Little Beiping, Dangjia Village in Hancheng, the treasure of oriental houses, Hukou Waterfall, Yan 'an, the holy land of revolution, and Huangdi Mausoleum, the ancestor of China. Many domestic tourists who come to Xi will choose this route. Generally speaking, for this northbound route, the travel agency arranges a two-day tour of Huangling, Hukou and Yan 'an. My experience is: If you can go to Yan 'an for three days and visit the above scenic spots, the best time for a tourist destination is September /65438+ 10. From Xi 'an to Yan 'an by train, 25 yuan and 62 yuan can buy hard sleepers. When they arrive in Yan 'an the next morning, they can visit the mainland attractions in Yan 'an on the same day. Baota shan, Yan 'an Revolutionary Memorial Hall, etc. It's just an expression of infatuation with the revolutionary holy land. It's cool to feel the local folk customs. Accommodation in Yan 'an is slightly more expensive than that in similar cities, and the standard room is generally between 180-320. There are buses and taxis in the city. Stay in Yan 'an in the evening, go to Hukou the next day, go to Huangling the third day, and return the same day. Now the first-class highway from Xi 'an to Huangling has been completed, and it is also a good thing to drive from Xi 'an to Yan 'an (Mitsubishi can reach it in about 4 hours off-road).

Note: Tickets to Xi 'an are not a small expense, such as Terracotta Warriors and Horses 65 yuan, Museum 30 yuan, Forest of Steles 35 yuan, City Wall 15 yuan, Wild Goose Pagoda 20 yuan, Huashan 85 yuan and so on. The same is true of Yan 'an (different seasons, different prices).

Step 2 prescribe diet

The first point is not to eat near the railway station. The previous diet can only be described as wasting food, but now it has changed a little. If you come and go in a hurry, it is suggested to go to the Gulou snack street (Qiaozikou) next to the Muslim Temple to eat something, such as Jia San's soup dumplings, Pingwa barbecue, fried rice with red sauerkraut and so on. But before eating, you should be clear about your own requirements, such as whether you want peppers or not. And adapt to the speaking habits of people here and speak louder. At the same time, it should be noted that most of the restaurants here are Muslim restaurants, which need to respect folk customs. Note: the steamed buns here can be divided into beef and mutton, and the barbecue is also different in size, so the price is different. Do not eat too much. There are usually more shares here.

Recommended: Laosunjia mutton bread in soup (there are shops outside East Street and East Gate), Laohuangjia mutton bread in soup (outside West Gate), Ren Fang Muslim food (Xiaozhai), Tongshengxiang mutton bread in soup (Bell and Drum Tower Square), Hulutou in spring (beside the fragrant powder), Hulutou in the first bowl of Tumen (Tumen), Fan Ji Chinese hamburger (Zhu Yaocheng) and Qinyu Chinese hamburger. Rendai (outside the southeast gate of Xi Jiaotong University), Zhuyuan Hotpot (Heping Road, Xiaozhai and Big Wild Goose Pagoda all have branches), Defachang jiaozi (Bell and Drum Tower Square), Baiyun Zhang jiaozi (East Street, Muslim flavor), Jiefang Road jiaozi (Jiefang Road) and Xuejia Mipi (many branches). These are all special snacks. In fact, Xi 'an has many characteristics. As long as you are in the city, try more snacks. Xi 'an's high-end restaurants are mostly concentrated in East Street, Chang 'an South Road and South Second Ring Road.

3, accommodation

There are many hotels in Xi 'an, and there are many grades from high to low. I can only recommend it based on my own experience. If you are a student, you'd better live outside the city. It is recommended to live in Li Jiacun and Lujia Village, where there are hotel villages and guest houses for many schools and units. The general school guest house is around 40 yuan, 3 stops from Big Wild Goose Pagoda, 5 stops from the railway station, 3 stops from Little Wild Goose Pagoda, 4 stops from the History Museum and 3 stops from Beilin, with convenient transportation.

If you have more money, it is recommended to live outside Heping Gate (at Li Jiacun North Station 1), including Shengli Hotel, Jianhua Hotel and many guest houses. General standard room price is between 120-220. Only 100 meters away from the city wall!

If you want to stay in a better hotel, the Bell Tower Hotel next to the Bell Tower is three-star, the Xi 'an Hotel in Chang 'an Middle Road is four-star, and the Castle Hotel outside the South Gate is five-star. Xi 'an's star-rated hotels are very expensive, comparable to those in Shanghai, Beijing and other cities. So booking tickets online is a good way.

The price of guest houses in Xi 'an ranges from 30-80 yuan/bed, 60- 140/ bed in general hotels, to standard rooms 190-800 yuan/room in three-star hotels or above.

If it is a self-help tour, you can choose to live in Xi 'an College Youth Hostel under the western wall of the south gate (at the entrance of the western wall lane), with 50 yuan as your own shop and 80 yuan as the standard shop.

Note: Accommodation is particularly tight during the long vacation, so you need to make a reservation in advance. It's a good choice to save money by using reservation cards of websites such as E Long.

Step 4 transport

Xi 'an bus is convenient, the road is straight, and it is not easy to get lost, but there are many traffic jams. Remember to leave enough time to catch the train and plane. The bus price is generally one yuan and the air conditioner is two yuan. Most of them are unattended and need to prepare small change. There are more young bobby, who charges according to the distance, starting at 50 cents and adding 50 cents every three stops. The more useful routes are 603(3) (from the railway station to Shaanxi Normal University via Jiefang Road, Xincheng Square, North Street, Bell Tower, South Gate and Chang 'an No.1 Road) and 5 (from the railway station to Dachacheng, Hepingmen, Wild Goose Pagoda, Xiaozhai and Medical College). For students and friends, they usually come to Xi 'an. Many colleges and universities in Xi 'an have classmates, so the newly opened education bus will greatly facilitate your travel. It connects dozens of colleges and universities such as Xi University of Technology, Northwest Textile Industry Institute, Polytechnic University, Jiaotong University, University of Architecture and Technology, Chang 'an University, Xi University of Finance and Economics, Finance Campus of Jiaotong University, Medical Campus of Jiaotong University, Academy of Fine Arts, Petroleum College, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Xigong University and Northwest University.

There are many taxis in Xi 'an. As long as it's not weekends and meal time, it's easy to get a taxi. The most taxis are Otto, and the starting price in 5 yuan is (within 6 yuan 10 pm-6 am), per kilometer 1.2 yuan, and per kilometer 1.8 yuan after exceeding 10 yuan. Jetta and Fukang start at the same price as Otto, per kilometer 1.30 yuan. Taxis from downtown to the airport generally don't hit the meter, and the price is around 100. Note that in Xi 'an, if you are out of the city or out of town, you'd better choose Jetta or Fukang.

The transportation from Xi 'an to the surrounding tourist attractions is convenient. The east line is the west (Xi 'an) Tongguan Expressway, and the first-class highway from Xi 'an to Huangling has been built on the north line. At the same time, there are railway lines and flights from Xi 'an to Yan 'an, and the west line is Xibao Expressway and Xilan (Lanzhou) first-class highway.
