According to Zhang Bingquan, the first president of the City Cuisine Association, the City Cuisine Association was established on July 18, 2003, with 50 group members and 285 directors and individual members. It is one of the most authoritative, professional and influential institutions in the catering industry in our city.

Xu Chaohua, general manager of the food and entertainment plaza of the city's base camp, Ning, chairman of Gao Dun Hotel Management Co., Ltd., director of the reception desk of danjiangkou city Government and general manager of Danjiangkou City Hotel, and Wang Anhua, director of the reception desk of Wudang Mountain Government and executive vice president of Wudang Mountain Hotel were elected as secretaries-general. After the transformation, the name of the association was changed from Shiyan Cuisine Association to Shiyan Catering Industry Association.
