The advantages and disadvantages of gypsum board and bamboo fiber integrated ceiling

Advantages of gypsum board ceilings:

1. Light weight, moisture-proof, fire-proof, not easily deformed, easy to construct and highly malleable, and can be modified according to the desired design shape and pattern. The sound-absorbing board is made of paper-faced gypsum board as the base board, which is printed with paint and drilled. It has more sound insulation and earthquake resistance than the gypsum board.

2. Diversity of varieties. Gypsum boards include various flat plates, semi-perforated boards, fully perforated boards, waterproof boards, embossed pattern boards, etc. Relief pattern boards are generally used on suspended ceilings in bedrooms, living rooms, and study rooms; while waterproof boards are mostly used in humid places such as kitchens and bathrooms.

Disadvantages of gypsum board ceilings:

1. It requires high construction technology. If the technology is not good, gaps and cracks will easily appear between the ceilings. Without sound-absorbing panels, the sound insulation effect will be better. Poor insulation, no insulation, and walls easily damaged.
