The most expensive dessert?

Fortress is a world-class luxury hotel located in the coastal city of Galle, Sri Lanka. It claims to provide one of the most expensive desserts in the world, and the asking price per serving is as high as $65,438+04,500. This dessert is called "Fotis Fisherman's Enjoyment". Different from ordinary desserts, there is also a giant gem on the dining table.

For dessert, the Italian Casata fruit cake with golden leaves decorated with Irish cream is served with candied mango and pomegranate, topped with champagne and egg honey juice. The dessert is decorated with a fisherman carved with chocolate, tied to a post, reflecting the local traditional fishing activities and an 80-carat aquamarine.

Sharini Pereira, the hotel's public relations manager, said that this dessert would give guests a "unique" feeling.

Pereira said that desserts need to be booked in advance. Although the hotel has received telephone inquiries from all over the world, no one has actually placed an order.
