1. If the hotel fails to fulfill its safety protection obligations and causes the death of a passenger, it shall bear corresponding supplementary liability. After the hotel assumes supplementary responsibilities, it shall specifically compensate for medical expenses, nursing expenses, transportation expenses, nutrition expenses, hospitalization food subsidies, reduced income due to missed work, funeral expenses and death compensation.

2. If the hotel fulfills its safety guarantee obligations but the passenger still dies, the hotel will not be liable for compensation.
