Langya Mountain features
Langya Mountain enjoys the reputation of "There is no other mountain after Penglai" and "Pearl of East Anhui". Because it is rich in a variety of Chinese herbal medicines, it is known as the "natural medicine garden". There are tourist attractions such as Zuiweng Pavilion, Langya Pavilion, Chengxi Lake, Gushan Lake and Hugu Valley.
Brief introduction of Langya Mountain
Langya Mountain is located 5 kilometers southwest of Chuzhou City, with the highest peak 3 17 meters above sea level. It was named after Si Marui, the king of Langya in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, who lived here, and was famous for Ouyang Xiu's Preface to Drunk Pavilion in the Song Dynasty. The meaning of drunkenness is not wine, but the "mountain" in Mountains and Rivers refers to Langya Mountain. Most of the scenic spots on the mountain revolve around the "drunken pavilion", which is full of humanistic atmosphere. Unfortunately, many historical sites have been destroyed and built over the ages, and most of them were rebuilt later. Langya Mountain has beautiful scenery, and it does have the pleasure of "between mountains and rivers".
There are two gates in Langya Mountain, the North Gate and the East Gate. The north gate is the main entrance, and the bus stops outside the north gate, so it usually enters from the north gate and visits the scenic spot from northeast to southwest.
Entering the north gate, after passing through Langya Moyuan, you can see the mountain stream flowing, surrounded by masonry, which is the spring water described by Zuiweng Pavilion. Opposite Rangquan is Zuiwengting Scenic Area, which is the essence of Langya Mountain.
Needless to say, there are always many tourists standing inside. A thousand-year-old "Ou Mei" in Tingxi is said to have been planted by Ouyang Xiu himself. It means that there is a ditch under the pavilion, and the winding water flows through it. In Baosong Xinzhai, you can see the inscription of Zuiwengting written by Su Shi, which is an imitation.
Ouyang Xiu's life can be known in the Ouyang Xiu Memorial Hall (Tong Yuan Scenic Area) next to Zuiwengting Scenic Area. The inscriptions on Zuiwengting Ji written by Zhu Zhishan, Wen Zhiming and Dong Qichang are quite interesting. Then I met a fork in the road,
Matters needing attention in visiting Langya Mountain
1. You can invite a tour guide at the main entrance of Langya Mountain to explain 200 yuan with reference to the price.
2. There are canteens selling food and souvenirs in Ouyang Xiu Memorial Hall, Nantianmenxia and other places.
3. Don't try to evade the ticket. It's very strict to check all the small scenic spots in the scenic spot.
4. The Fengle Pavilion scenic spot outside the north gate marked on some maps is actually not next to the Langya Mountain scenic spot, which is quite far away. Fengle Pavilion is close to Chengxi Reservoir (Xijian Lake) and was rebuilt to commemorate Ouyang Xiu's Fengle Pavilion. Tickets for 20 yuan are available. You can go and have a look if you are interested.
Although Chuzhou belongs to Anhui Province, it is close to Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, and it takes less than half an hour to reach Chuzhou by high-speed train.
