If it were not inconvenient to carry a baby, you should really choose a flight from Shanghai. Even including the high-speed rail cost from Nanjing to Shanghai, it will save a lot more than direct flight from Nanjing! The transportation in Yalong Bay is indeed slightly inconvenient, but it is still relatively speaking. For example, at the Golden Palm Resort Hotel where we stayed later, there were buses to the city and Dadonghai just after a short wait in front of the hotel. It only takes about 25 minutes to get to Dadonghai and about 35 minutes to the city. It is still convenient to go to eat or shop. Very convenient. It’s just that these cars are collected earlier in the evening. Basically, you can only take a taxi when you return to Yalong Bay after 6:30. When traveling to Sanya, if you want to save money, a family hotel is definitely the best choice, but remember that the key is to be close to the sea, so you can put on your swimsuit and go to the beach, and come back to take a shower very quickly, and the children will not catch cold.

No matter how nice the Dadonghai is, going to Yalong Bay in Sanya is a must-visit beach. When visiting Yalong Bay, it is best to stay there for a few days, so that you can experience what a vacation is. When we Chinese travel in the past, we tend to pay too much attention to which scenic spots we go to, but ignore that the meaning of travel itself is self-relaxation. Hotel prices in Yalong Bay are still relatively high, basically upwards of 500/day, with no upper limit.

For our middle-income people, it is necessary to not only enjoy the comfort of a seaside vacation but also save money to find a cost-effective hotel. I can't comment on the top wine spots, but the only cost-effective hotels in Yalong Bay are Palme d'Or, Cactus and Universal City. We compared and chose Palme d'Or. I booked the hotel’s garden view standard room through Hainan Tongcheng, and the price was quite reasonable. The so-called garden view is facing the hotel's garden. There is a big coconut tree in front of our window. The baby likes it and even painted a coconut tree! The standard rooms of the Golden Palm Hotel are not spacious. The biggest drawback is that the bathroom is relatively small, which does not meet the status of a four-star hotel. Although the facilities are not new, they are quite useful and do not have the legendary musty smell. The gardens and swimming pool of the Golden Palm Hotel are really beautiful. Various plants are neatly maintained. Sleeping in hammocks and swinging under the coconut trees are babies' favorites. There is also a lake next to the garden, where you can take a stroll or take a nap. Very pleasant. You can play water basketball and volleyball in the swimming pool, and the children's pool is suitable for babies. The swimming pool water is very clean, the only drawback is that it is too sunny during the day. The biggest advantage of Golden Palm is that although it is not the most upscale hotel in Yalong Bay, it still has a beautiful private beach, and from the hotel lobby to the beach, you only need to cross a small road, which basically takes about 1 minute. There is also a very nice lawn on the way to the beach. After staying at the Golden Palm Hotel, we swam in Yalong Bay every day, played in the sand, or played in the hotel pool and walked in the garden. It was really a leisurely vacation!

The biggest difference between living in Yalong Bay and living in Dadonghai is that the former is for vacation and the latter is for fun. This is how we feel! If you are just visiting Sanya, there is no big difference between Dadonghai and Yalong Bay. They also have beautiful sea and beaches. But when you come to Sanya for vacation, you have to stay in Yalong Bay. Therefore, it is highly recommended to stay in Yalong Bay for a few nights. The quality of accommodation may be high or low, but the tranquility and comfort experienced should be the same.

Of course when you go to Sanya, you have to eat seafood. When it comes to eating seafood, we have to mention the basic mode of eating seafood in Sanya, which is to buy fresh seafood in the market, go to the seafood processing store to process it, and eat it in the processing store. There will be vendors nearby providing tropical fruits, seafood Ice, coconut, various staple and non-staple foods, just choose as appropriate. When buying seafood in Sanya, you usually go to the First Market. The First Market is actually a vegetable market. In addition to seafood, you can also buy vegetables and meat and find someone to process them. There are many grocery stores and specialty shops next to the vegetable market, and there is also a night market in the evening, forming a unique small commodity street in Sanya.

After reading many guides, they recommended going to Chunyuan to eat seafood. Based on our own experience, we disagree. Of course, if you must pursue the atmosphere of a thousand people eating together, Chunyuan may still be the best choice. But if you just want to eat cheap, fresh and delicious seafood, I think buying it at the No. 1 Market and then going to the 168 Seafood Processing Store next to it will be OK. Even if you want to go to Chunyuan to eat, you should buy it at the First Market, because the seafood stalls in the First Market are many (competitive) and fresh (large shipments), so you can buy cheap and good-quality seafood. It is generally 1/4 to 1/3 more expensive to buy in a garden, or even more. The processing fees of Chunyuan and 168 are the same, and even lower for 168. The key is that 168 is right next to the First Market, so there is no need to rush to Chunyuan with seafood. We had three meals at Ailai Seafood in 168 and one at Chunyuan. It was obviously better here than at 168.

Sanya has many kinds of seafood, including fish, crabs, shrimps, and shellfish. As long as they are fresh, they are all delicious! In the past few days, we have tasted prawns, green fish, white pomfret, flower crabs, cream crabs, sea urchins, small abalone, mango snails, fragrant snails, scallops and scallops. The big lobster was too expensive to eat. The prices in all markets are similar, so there is not much room for bargaining, but be sure to drain the sea water when weighing. Usually there will be a girl from the processing store accompanying you when buying, and they all know it. The processing costs are generally per catty for small ones (5 yuan to 10 yuan per catty), for large ones (for example, scallops can be counter-priced to 2 yuan per piece, crabs for 5 yuan per piece), and vegetables for 5 yuan per catty. Recommend the crab crab, it is very yellow and the meat is very fat, very delicious! A 15-inch one is pretty good, and a 25-inch one isn't much bigger.

Another famous place in Sanya Seafood is the "Red Sand Fish Steak". In fact, it is not far from Dadonghai and Yalong Bay, but its evaluation on the Internet is very different. Most people say that it is a serious rip-off of customers, and local rentals The driver also said that he couldn’t eat it without paying 400-500 yuan, so he hesitated and didn’t dare to go. He didn’t know what the red sand fish steak was like, so he hoped someone who really knew could give him an accurate answer.

If you live in Dadonghai and don’t want to go to the city to eat, you can still go to the food court in the nearby Summer Department Store or the Russian restaurant in Dadonghai Plaza, but they are more expensive. It’s better to take a 15-minute bus to the city. eat. Living in Yalong Bay, eating is indeed a problem. The main problem is that it is expensive. The Palme d'Or where we stayed is already relatively cost-effective. The famous BBQ188 is available for one person. Booking online can be cheaper and waives the service fee. Children over 1 meter have to pay half price, which is not worth it, so we didn't eat. We might as well stay in the hotel. Eating at a Chinese restaurant. Baihua Valley in Yalong Bay has bars and local snacks, including Chengdu-style Chaoshou, Northeastern dumplings, etc., but they are expensive (a dumpling seems to be 35 yuan, which is not affordable) and not affordable. It is better to take a car to the city to eat seafood or take a short ride to Tiandu Town for dinner, which is more cost-effective. Because even if we take a taxi back and forth, the total cost of seafood for three people to eat for 200 yuan is only 300 yuan, and in Yalong Bay, no matter how much you spend 300 yuan, you won’t be able to eat anything good.

When you go to Sanya, of course, you mainly play in the sea and beach, which are your baby’s favorite. Based on our experience this time, I think the best time to visit Sanya is from the end of March to the beginning of May, and from October to December in the second half of the year. During this period, it is not too hot, and it is not too cold to go to the sea, especially It is suitable for children to swim and play in the sand. For example, after May, the sunshine is a bit too strong. The sunshine combined with the sea breeze can easily turn people dark. The baby was really depressed after staying in Sanya for a week. There are many places to visit in Sanya, and there are also many travel agencies that provide short-distance tours. Generally, the operations are relatively good, and there is usually a car for pick-up and drop-off (Yalong Bay and Haipo generally charge an additional 10 yuan to 20 yuan) , includes scenic area tickets, but does not include project tickets (the travel agency actually earns rebates from these projects) and meals. There are many people around Dadonghai and First Market distributing flyers from travel agencies. Of course, the real way to save money is to book on Taobao! For most individual travelers like us, just choose 1-2 one-day tours, completely based on your own hobbies. If you like to worship Buddha, you must go to Nanshan Guanyin Hall. For diving, you can choose Wuzhizhou Island or Xidao. If you want to see tropical plants, you can visit Yanoda, Betel Valley and Yalong Bay Forest Park (the famous African Cheng 2 shooting location) just choose one, there is also the famous Tianya Haijiao. The more special ones are Lantian Hot Spring, which is said to be much more fun than Yishang Hot Spring in Tangshan, Nanjing (we didn’t go there, so I can’t comment).
