The scene of the prosperous times is nothing more than this, the main event is coming! The temple fair is the biggest carnival of the Spring Festival!

Everyone who has been to Yongning Ancient City will be familiar with it. The "Fire Spoon" here is full of praise. It is said that the fire spoon has a history of more than 2,000 years since Qin Shihuang built the Great Wall. At that time, the border town in the north of Yongning was located on the high mountains. The people who built the Great Wall invented the fire ladle in order to bring dry food to satisfy their hunger. Yongning's Huo Shao has tender flesh and crispy skin, is delicious and cheap. Just pinch the hot spoon that has just come out of the oven and it will crack open. If you like vegetarian food, you can put fried cakes in it. If you like meat, you can put various cooked meats in it. Adding scallions, coriander, and fresh chili peppers makes it even more flavorful.

Another famous food is tofu. Different from other places, Yongning’s tofu method uses physalis to bake the tofu. By car, drive straight from the Yanqing exit of the Beijing-Tibet Expressway to Yanqing Xinfeng Hotel, turn right and go straight for about 18 kilometers to Yongning Town.

Bus: Take bus No. 919 from Deshengmen and get off at the south gate of Chuanbei Community in Yanqing, then transfer to bus No. 873 to reach the end point.

Take the S2 train from Huangtu Store on line S2 to Yanqing Railway Station. Exit to the North Square and transfer to bus Y10 and get off at Yanqing South Caiyuan. Transfer to bus No. 873 and get off at Yongning Station.

Each flower fair performance is in the evening 7:30-8:30, performance time is about 1 hour. The performance locations are five performance points: Yuhuang Pavilion South, Yuhuang Pavilion North, Weihou Alley, Scale North, and North Gate.
