It is said that sachertorte was invented by Flantz Sach of Vienna in 1832. At that time, the Austrian Prime Minister held a banquet every day and prepared a large number of desserts in advance. One day, he asked the chef to develop a new dessert that guests would never forget. Unfortunately, the chef fell ill, and 16-year-old apprentice "Franz Sahe" took on the heavy responsibility. He had an idea, wrote down the recipe and baked this chocolate cake, which was delicious and highly praised by the guests.
