According to Article 12 of the Fire Protection Law, hotels, restaurants, shopping malls and other public gathering places should report to the public security fire control institutions before they are used or opened, and can only be used or opened after passing the fire safety inspection. Public gathering places should be set in buildings with commercial purposes and certain fire-fighting facilities, and their fire-fighting requirements are stricter than those of private houses, which belong to private houses rather than public buildings. Therefore, applications for private hotels are not accepted.

Declare the name of the industrial and commercial department of the newly opened hotel for approval. Fire approval is divided into two situations:

(1) If the newly-opened hotel has declared a construction area of over 300 square meters, it shall go to the fire window to receive the Declaration Form for Fire Prevention Audit of Building Interior Decoration Design and the Notice Form (the materials to be submitted), declare the hotel interior decoration audit, and start construction only after passing the audit; After the completion of the project, you must go to the fire window to receive the "Declaration Form for Fire Control Acceptance of Building Projects" and the notification form (materials to be submitted), and declare the acceptance of hotel interior decoration; After the acceptance, it shall declare the fire safety inspection before opening to the public security fire control institutions according to law, receive the fire safety inspection declaration form and notification form (materials to be submitted) at the fire window, and issue fire safety inspection opinions after passing the fire safety inspection before opening.

(2) If the newly-opened hotel declares a construction area of less than 300 square meters, you can go to the fire window to receive the Declaration Form for Fire Safety Inspection and the Notice Form (materials to be submitted), and directly declare the fire safety inspection of public gathering places before opening. After passing the fire safety inspection, you can issue a fire safety inspection opinion before starting business.
