I went to Thailand to play. I heard that Thai hotels should bring their own toothpaste and so on. Do you also need to bring your own towel? Do I need a passport and visa to exchange Thai baht in China
Just an ID card.
Thailand tourism preparation before departure, the exchange rate of RMB against Thai baht.
Before you leave, please check carefully whether there are these things in your luggage.
1) documents: passport and visa, e-ticket (for traveling to travel itinerary), hotel reservation form, and passport copy (passport copy is required for renting motorcycles and changing money in superrich);
2) Cash/card type: cash (Thai baht and RMB), credit card and UnionPay card;
3) Travel guide: travel plan, map, pen+notebook (I brought a small notebook with me to keep accounts);
4) Mobile phone charger and spare battery, 2-hole power converter (Thailand has 2 holes, so use the converter if there is a 3-hole plug);
5) Toilet: towels, slippers, shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, facial cleanser, toothpaste, toothbrush (some hotels in Thailand do not provide toothbrush and toothpaste, bring your own! ); Xiao m added: you don't have to bring it from China. You can buy it at 7- 1 1 convenience store in Thailand.
6) Skin care: face cream, eye cream, facial mask, sunscreen (SPF50+ must be used), comb, mirror, cotton pad, toilet water (mosquitoes in Thailand are still very poisonous, so they need to be sprayed every day when going out. I brought the best six gods this time, and I was hardly bitten by mosquitoes);
7) Daily necessities: wet wipes, paper towels, sunglasses, umbrellas and disposable raincoats (the weather in Thailand changes greatly, so it is recommended to carry them in your bag, which is lighter than umbrellas);
8) Clothing, shoes and hats: 3-4 sets of summer clothes, autumn trousers (air conditioning in airplanes and airports is cold), underwear, socks, bikinis (no one really wears one-piece suits on the beach, everyone wears bikinis, so don't be shy and worry about being in poor shape ~ China people still have an advantage over ghosts), sandals, and shiny shoes (all temples in Thailand require to take off their shoes; It is recommended to bring a pair of sneakers to facilitate walking);
9) List of drugs: essential balm, band-aid (unfortunately, I really used it this time), anti-inflammatory drugs (cephalosporin), cold medicines, diarrhea medicines and allergies. It is recommended to take Kairuitan (tropical fruits and food are easy to cause allergies) and seasickness medicine (to prevent seasickness at sea).
Banks and money, the unit of currency in Thailand is "baht", which is pronounced "ba" in English.
At present, 1 yuan is about 4.8 baht. At present, there are five denominations of banknotes of 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 baht and coins of 1, 2, 5 and 10 baht in circulation.
Ways to obtain Thai baht (where to exchange it, and whether it needs to be converted into small bills)
1, domestic direct purchase is the highest exchange rate. Bank of China can buy Thai baht directly, but it is not available in all business halls or all the time. You need to make an appointment in advance and bring your ID card and passport.
2. You can withdraw Thai baht directly from ATM or affiliated bank with UnionPay logo in Thailand with bank card. Other ATMs without these two logos can also try. It should be noted that the deposit balance of ATM shows the amount of Thai baht calculated according to the foreign exchange quotation of China UnionPay at that time, not the balance of RMB. The exchange rate is calculated according to the selling price of Thai baht published by Bank of China on the same day, but the issuing bank will charge a certain handling fee (generally 0.3%-0.5%, with a minimum charge of RMB 10 yuan). Starting from 20 12 and 10, all Thai banks charge 50 baht for cash withdrawal of UnionPay cards.
3. Exchange euros, dollars or Hong Kong dollars in China, and then exchange them into Thai baht in Thailand. Two exchanges will produce a certain exchange rate loss. In Thailand, the exchange rate of US dollar is better than that of RMB.
4. Direct exchange of RMB in Thailand, the exchange rate is lower than the above methods. Chinatown in Bangkok may be better.
