Lu Xun

Lu Xun (188 1- 1936), a great writer and translator in modern China, was the founder of the new literature movement. Lu Xun, formerly known as Zhou Shuren, was born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang.

Shaoxing is the hometown of Lu Xun and the most familiar background in Lu Xun's works. Here you can interpret Lu Xun's works, taste the scenery written by Lu Xun and feel the real life situation of Lu Xun in those days. On both sides of a narrow bluestone road, there are rows of white tiles, bamboo rafts, Lu Xun's ancestral home, Lu Xun's former residence, Baicao Garden, San Tan Yin Yue and Xianheng Hotel. A small river flows in front of Lu Xun's former residence, and the awning boat swings on the river, which makes people involuntarily think of some scenes written by Lu Xun.

Wang Xizhi

Wang Xizhi-Shao Yi, whose name is Lian Zhai, was originally from Linyi (present-day Shandong) and later moved to Yin Shan (present-day Shaoxing, Zhejiang) as the right general. He was a great calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and was honored as a "book saint" by later generations.

In the 11th year of Yonghe (355), he resigned from Huiji County. On March 3rd, the 9th year of Yonghe, Wang Xizhi, friends Xie An, Sun Chuo and 42 relatives and friends gathered in Lanting, Shaoxing, to hold a ceremony and drink and compose poems. Later, Wang Xizhi sorted out their poems and wrote a preface, which is the famous preface to Lanting Collection. Legend has it that Wang Xizhi scribbled this preface with cocoon paper and a moustache, with 28 lines and 324 words, all of which were varied and exquisite.

Lu you

Lu You, a great poet in Southern Song Dynasty. The word Wu Guan, No.,was born in Yin Shan (now Shaoxing, Zhejiang).

He married the Tang family for the first time and divorced under the pressure of his mother. His pain is poured out in some poems, such as Shen Yuan and Hairpin Phoenix, which are sincere and touching. A generation of "letting go", this period of "ancient love", also achieved "Shen Yuan"!

Xu Wenchang

Xu Wenchang (152 1 year-1593), whose real name is Xu Wei, is named Tianchi, Ivy and Tian Shuiyue.

In folklore, Xu Wenchang is a humorous master with comic color, but in history, he is an innovative artist and writer. He is good at calligraphy, painting, poetry, opera, and has many accomplishments. Calligraphy and painting are highly respected by future generations. He was brilliant, but his life was bumpy, and finally he ended tragically in poverty and illness. Qingteng Bookstore is Xu Wei's birthplace and place of study.

Zhou * *

Zhou * * (1898 ~ 1976), whose real name was Wu Hao, etc. He was born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang.

Shaoxing is the hometown of Zhou * *, and Shaoxing Zhou * * Memorial Hall is located at No.369, Laodong Road, downtown. It was built on the platform gatehouse in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and it was the ancestral home and former residence of Zhou. The building faces south, with a three-axis layout, covering an area of 3,800 square meters.

Qiu Jin

Qiu Jin (1875 ~ 1907), whose real name is Zhuo Qing, whose real name is Xiong Jing, was born in Qingshan Yin (now Shaoxing, Zhejiang), a famous activist of China democratic revolution and a pioneer of women's liberation movement.
