What's so interesting about Xingwen?

Shihaidong Township is located in Xingwen County in the south of Sichuan Province. Because there are 17 townships with stone forests and caves in this county, it has the reputation of "Stone Cave Township". Shihaidong Township is one of the most perfect karst areas in China. It ranks with the bamboo sea, dinosaurs and hanging coffins as the four wonders of southern Sichuan.

Shenfeng Tunnel in Zhoujia Town has the largest area, reaching more than 200,000 square meters. Tianquan Cave has a wide entrance, and the hall is tall and spacious, with an area similar to that of the entrance hall. There are two pot holes on the left side of the hall. The former cave is called "Wonder of Stone Buds".

The back cave is called "Stone Forest and Bamboo". There is a tall and bright hall at the entrance behind the cave, with an area of13000m2, named "Tiangong". Not far from the back hole, there is a bowl-shaped depression, which is a natural funnel (a specific geographical phenomenon) with a diameter of 650 meters and a depth of 208 meters. Xingwen Natural Funnel is listed as the largest natural funnel world record by world record association.

Bowangshan scenic spot

Bowangshan Scenic Area is located in Xingwen County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, and won the title of provincial scenic spot in 2000.

Won the title, and in 2005, together with Shihaidong Township, a national scenic spot, was awarded the World Geopark by UNESCO.
