What is the altitude of Aden, the "Daocheng"?

"Daocheng" Aden is 4600 meters above sea level (scenic spot) /6032 meters (peak).

Daocheng Yading is located in the southwest of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, in the east of the famous Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and in the middle of Hengduan Mountains. Aden Tibetan means "the land facing the sun", also known as Nyainqen Gongga Risong Gongbu, which means "holy land".

Aden Scenic Area belongs to the alpine canyon scenic area, with an altitude of 2,900 meters (Gongga estuary)-6,032 meters (Xiannairi Peak) and an area of 1.344 square kilometers. It is one of the most intact and primitive alpine natural ecosystems in China, showing the beautiful natural scenery of the world's alpine valleys. It is the core of Shangri-La Eco-tourism Zone in China, a national nature reserve and a provincial scenic spot.

The protected area covers an area of 1344 square kilometers, surrounded by peaks, huge height difference and large-scale plateau hot springs, which makes the climate warm and humid, the water quality clear and the species rich, forming a unique biological, hydrological and meteorological landscape in this area. Aden Nature Reserve is not only rich in natural landscape, but also has profound cultural connotation of coexistence of spirit and form.
