Whenever the cold wave comes, the ice and snow on the cloud iceberg are overwhelming, and there is a northland scenery.

Icebergs are also an excellent place to watch the sunrise, the sea of clouds and the romantic Milky Way. Because tourists can easily drive to the top of the mountain at an altitude of1360m, sit quietly and watch the storm surge, sunrise and sunset.

Only a few people know that Cloud Iceberg is a rare summer resort in southern China. At the foot of the mountain at an altitude of 1000 meters, the scenic spot has carefully built more than 50 romantic bamboo villas with the same style. Even in hot summer, you can sleep peacefully without turning on the air conditioner!

The deeper you know, the more you yearn for the cloud iceberg. On July 1 day, 2020, the five-member team of "Discovering Qingyuan" resolutely embarked on a journey of cloud iceberg.

S 1 14 provincial road is in good condition, the air is particularly fresh, and the car is driving between green mountains and green waters, which makes people feel very comfortable. After passing Fengyang Town and Sanshui Yao Township in Lianzhou City, the car began to climb continuously. About 300 meters in front of Nanfeng 'ao Tunnel, there is a fork in the road. After turning right, you will see the gate of Yunping scenic spot less than 2 kilometers away.

The ticket for Yunping Mountain Scenic Spot is 80 yuan for one person, but you don't need tickets and breakfast for two people to stay in the scenic spot hotel. Just got off the bus, the Xu Lai breeze, with the fragrance of bamboo leaves and green grass, swept away the heat at the foot of the mountain.

The lobby of the hotel exudes a strong artistic atmosphere. According to the staff, the owner of the scenic spot is very artistic and personally participated in the decoration design of the hotel. Even the soundtrack of the propaganda film "Cloud Iceberg" was composed by the owner of the scenic spot himself.

Yunpingshan Resort is divided into two different types of rooms. One is a single-family wooden villa with only one room, which is relatively private. Especially suitable for leisure vacation. The check-in price that night was 798 yuan, which was very cost-effective.

The other is villa courtyard, each villa courtyard has 6 rooms. Visitors can rent the whole villa for a holiday, or just rent one of the rooms. This quadrangle-style wooden villa is most suitable for several families to spend their holidays together. It is easy for friends to get together to eat, drink and chat, and it is easy to enhance their feelings.

In order to enjoy the different experiences brought by the two login villas, we decided to stay in the hotel-style login villa for the first night and the courtyard of BB villa for the second night. Hotel-style wooden villas are scattered in the bamboo forest behind the hotel lobby, and the environment is particularly quiet.

Villa brings us a completely different feeling. There are pavilions, living rooms, kitchens and guest rooms in the yard. Friends get together to play cards, drink, drink tea, chat and have a good time. It's really pleasant. We found this quadrangle-style wooden house villa particularly popular with tourists. That night was not a weekend, and it was almost full.

After a short rest, we couldn't help looking around. Walking among bamboo paths, breathing the fresh air with the fragrance of earth, enjoying the steaming clouds and rosy clouds brought by artificial fog, and listening to the sweet sound of streams flowing. I thought to myself, there are such cool and pleasant resorts in the world!

After 5 pm and before 8 am, tourists can drive to Yunping Peak. At other times, tourists can only take the scenic spot and transfer to the bus to go up the mountain. Just after 5 pm, we couldn't wait to drive up the hill. I want to see what a cloud iceberg looks like.

The uphill road is a two-lane cement pavement. Although there are many corners, it is very easy and safe to drive. As the altitude is getting higher and higher, the field of vision is getting wider and wider, and the mountains in the distance are panoramic. Hundreds of large windmills are under construction.

Every photographer is eager to drive his car directly to the top of the mountain and wait for the magnificent sunrise and sunset, the sea of clouds and the Milky Way without any burden. But looking around Guangdong, it is difficult to find lanterns on the peaks under such conditions. A few years ago, the first peak in Guangdong at an altitude of 1902 meters was considered as an excellent viewing platform, but now it is impossible to reach the top. At an altitude of1693m, there is a road leading to the top of Tianjing Mountain, but tourists are not allowed to drive into the mountain. Fortunately, we also have a cloud iceberg, where we can easily realize all our wishes.

Stop the car and start hiking to the top of the mountain. 520 steps didn't consume much physical strength. It's windy and cool on the top of the mountain. If you want to wait for sunrise and sunset here, it is recommended to take a coat to keep out the cold, otherwise you will catch cold easily.

The hillside is covered with alpine moss, like a green carpet on the hillside. This alpine moss is extremely rare and generally only grows on ice sheets. I didn't expect the cloud iceberg to grow in a large area, which fully shows that the ecological environment of the cloud iceberg is well maintained.

Iceberg is a part of Nanling Mountains, spanning four main peaks: Dupang Mountain, Xifeng Mountain, Dongbian Mountain and Hulu Mountain, with an average elevation of1.200m.. The highest peak is 360 degrees above sea level 1362 meters, where visitors can experience the pleasure of crossing two provinces with one foot.

Today the weather is not particularly transparent, so I didn't plan to wait for the sunset at the top of the mountain. Think about it, too. We came to Yunping and stayed in such a romantic and comfortable resort hotel. Don't waste all your good time on the top of the mountain.

In the cloud iceberg, you can't feel how hot it is in summer. There are only three seasons in the mountains: spring, autumn and winter. Here, you just need to hold your sweetheart's hand and walk slowly along the quiet bamboo path, listening to the rustling of the wind blowing through the bamboo forest and the free singing of various unknown birds, and watching the thin clouds gather in front of you.
