The Lotus Show is the highlight of the annual Qiaotou Lotus Festival. In order to better display the magnificent scenery of lotus "the lotus leaves are infinitely colorful, and the lotus leaves reflect different colors in the sun", a new variety "Space 36" was introduced into the 300-mu Lotus Lake in Qiaotou Town. This variety has a long flowering period and huge flowers, which is especially suitable for the climate at Qiaotou. Due to the early arrival of this summer and the hot weather, the lotus at Qiaotou is growing well this year and will be in full bloom during the Lotus Festival.

Highlight 2: Open at night and enjoy the moonlight in the lotus pond.

Qiaotou Town has injected more trendy, fashionable and romantic elements into this year's cultural activities. The opening ceremony of this Lotus Festival was held in the evening for the first time. The opening ceremony was held in Lianhu Scenic Area, and the night was hazy. Through LED electronic screen, lighting decoration and large fireworks, the charming moonlight of the lotus pond is created, and the picturesque stage is used to fully show the unique lotus culture of the bridgehead to the public.

In order to create a lotus culture and art festival with stronger cultural flavor and higher cultural taste, Qiaotou Town has launched a series of fine cultural activities. Five literary works, such as Reading the Bridge Head (20 1 1), Charming Bridge Head, 100 Bridge Head Short Story, Waiting for You to Write Prose at the Bridge Head and Seeing Local Culture, will be officially published. Three music albums, including Huang Ling's solo album, Qiaotou Man and Qiaotou original song album, were officially released.
