Our love in Lushan

Speaking of Lushan Mountain, I think of Li Bai in the Tang Dynasty and Su Shi in the Song Dynasty. The first time I heard about Mount Lu was from their admiration for the landscape in their writings. I know Lushan must be beautiful.

I have been there twice. The first time I went up was from the steep Shimen Stream. I realized what it means to not know the true face of Mount Lu just because you are in this mountain. The cries of birds in the mountains echo gracefully on the cliffs, there are eagle-head-like rocks hanging above the canyon, and below are the turbulent waterfalls. I didn't dare to look down while walking, as I felt that I might fall at any time.

The second time I went, this time I was deeply impressed. I went with the person I love, who is not in the same city as me, and we agreed to wait at Lushan Station to go together. The night before I went, I couldn't sleep because I was so happy that this was another rare planned encounter. I can see him again, I can hug him again. Everything feels exciting and beautiful.

The first place we arrived was a small town on Lushan Mountain. The name was Guling Town. I didn’t remember it well at first sight, and we even called it wrong the first time. That small town is very beautiful, with its red roofs shrouded in the clouds and mist of Mount Lu, which is indescribably quiet and beautiful. It should be considered a time when there were more people when we went. The summer in Jiangxi is relatively hot. Even Jiujiang in the north cannot escape the scorching heat. The heat here will last until the Mid-Autumn Festival. Therefore, many people will choose to come to Lushan at this time, so this town will be more lively when we go there.

It was already afternoon when we went there. My son and I were a little motion sick along the way and had no time to see the scenery, so we didn’t go out that day. Both of them collapsed from exhaustion and rested until evening before going out. There are many people on the streets of Guling Town at night, and there are many Lushan specialties. It is very lively everywhere. We came to the square in Guling Town. Many people were taking pictures there. The terrain here is very high and you can see the entire mountain scenery. You can also stand there and enjoy the evening breeze. I still remember the two rows of tree statues on the street. They are the older generation who have been guarding Guling Town.

We drank green plum wine in the evening. The green plum wine sold on Lushan Mountain was a bit silly and sweet. Sure enough, the wine we drank with my stinky baby was also sweet. I was really happy that day, and it was also our first time coming to Guling Town. I was wearing a skirt and the night wind was still a bit chilly. Fortunately, my Zaizai brought a coat for me to wear.

The next day we got up very early, had breakfast in the town and set off. The weather that day was also very good, the sky was blue, the clouds were white, and the place where the sun shined was clear and clear. We held hands and watched the scenery all the way to Ruqin Lake. The largest lake in Lushan Mountain, the clear water reflects the beautiful mountains and forests around it. The lakeside is gracefully curved and connected by wooden bridges. I walked hand in hand by the lake with the one I love, it was so beautiful~

Along Ruqin Lake, the water on the lake is rippling, and the unknown pavilion in the middle is a bit mysterious. We came to Huajing, where there is a huge stone carving "Bai Sima Huajing" written by calligrapher Hu Xianya. We also asked an uncle to take pictures for us on the path of Huajing. Keep that beautiful moment. The winding path led to a secluded place, and we then came to Bai Juyi Thatched Cottage. There was a water lily pond in front of the door. At that time, only a few or two bloomed shyly.

That day, the two of us visited many scenic spots on Lushan Mountain. We went to the Fairy Cave, where we also found a tabby cat that was very vigilant and refused to be touched. I walked that particularly steep road with my son, and we kissed together at the place where the two protagonists of Lushan Love kissed. We were even teased by an uncle and we shyly avoided it. My son took a time-lapse video there. , recording the changes in the mist-shrouded Mount Lushan. We have been walking for a day, and we kept looking at the scenery along the way.

That day we also saw the very old Grandpa Ginkgo Tree, accompanying us in front of the temple. Due to my strong curiosity, I couldn't help but knock on the wooden fish in the temple. That thing should not be touched casually. Then I was discovered by the old monk behind me, and I ran away in despair after preaching. It was really interesting and exciting, and my Zaizai ran out with me. On the way back, we also saw many old revolutionary-era buildings and commemorative places.

By the end of the day, both of our legs were extremely sore. After walking a few steps, I wanted to sit down and rest for a while, but I could hardly walk anymore. I don’t know how long it took, but in time for dinner, we finally arrived at our hotel. I was like a sun-dried loach lying on the bed unable to get up. That day, my Zaizai was worried that I was not feeling well and ran out alone to bring back a delicious meal. After I came back, I got up and started cooking. As expected, the healing power of food is very powerful. I am no longer a dried loach.

I still regretted a little that night. I didn’t go out and see the misty Guling Town. Zaizai took a photo and showed it to me. I was very moved. When we went out again, the feeling of mist had dissipated a lot. We bought a super delicious Lushan whitebait that day, which was sweet and spicy. Except for Lushan, I have never had such a delicious taste anywhere else.

On the third day, we slept until very late before going out and went back after lunch. On the way down the mountain, Zaizai also saw a little monkey, and I saw it too. Rows of Yunwu tea were planted along the way. At first, I pronounced it Yunke tea. After my friend corrected me, I realized that it was called Lushan Yunwu tea. It really is tea grown in the clouds.

I came to Lushan Mountain with my Zaizai. We stood on the mountainside of Lushan Mountain at night, hugging each other and blowing the evening breeze. We walked hand in hand where the poet walked. It felt really wonderful.
