Can shark meat be eaten?

Some parts of sharks are edible. At present, there are a few stalls in the domestic large-scale aquatic products market that sell shark meat for special consumption.

Sharks are marine animals, and a few species will move into fresh water, so they are medium and large marine fish with fast swimming speed. Sharks grow in a complex environment and are carnivores, carrying neurotoxins in their bodies, so it is not recommended to eat too much.

At present, most of the farmed sharks sold in the domestic market are for food. Before cooking sharks, it is recommended to scald them with boiling water, because there is a lot of sand in the shark's skin. Scalding can effectively remove the sand from the skin and make the shark meat taste better.
