Introduction to Scenic Spots Wugong Mountain is located in the northern section of Luo Xiao Mountains, and the main peak, BaiHefeng (Jinding), is about 1900 meters above sea level. As the mountains span two cities, Wugong Mountain is divided into Pingxiang and Anfu scenic spots, each with its own characteristics.

Pingxiang Wugong Mountain Scenic Area is dominated by the classic alpine meadow of Wugong Mountain. Generally, tourists who come to Wugong Mountain for hiking and sightseeing will choose Pingxiang. The scenic spot includes four parts: the Sheep Lion Curtain, Jinding, Fayun Street and Jiulong Mountain, among which the Sheep Lion Curtain is under development. Jinding has perfect trails and ropeways to go up and down the mountain, which is a well-developed tour route of Wugong Mountain.

Climbing the Jinding, watching the sunrise and sunset, and enjoying the starry sky in the sea of clouds are the three major experience projects here. Many hikers who like hiking photography choose to team up to cross Lion Screen-Fayun Street-Jinding-Kowloon (three days), which is considered as a relatively abusive hiking route in East China. Ordinary tourists usually use a combination of walking and ropeway, and it is much easier to spend a day or two visiting Jinding and enjoying the sunrise and the sea of clouds.

The path of Jinding is roughly "P"-shaped. On the right side of the entrance, there is a two-section ropeway leading to the top of the mountain, and on the left side is a trail, with attractions such as hanging horse stakes and heroic slope. The arrangement of experiencing the "three major events" is to start at noon that day, walk up the mountain from the right, spend the night in Jinding, watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds the next morning, and then continue to return counterclockwise from the left footpath.

The entrance to the next stop of the ropeway will pass through Shigu Temple and Wugongshan Cultural Park, which can be visited for half an hour. Sitting on the ropeway, you can see strange peaks, steep cliffs and primitive secondary forests from above, and green bamboo forests and terraces from below, with pleasant scenery. If you go up the mountain, there are special bridges, special waterfalls, mother-child rocks and other landscapes along the way. Both have their own advantages. If you don't want to miss it, you can choose to take this section when you go down the mountain the next day. When you get off the ropeway, you will enter the Fuxing Valley area, and you will feel the air become fresh. The Purple Pole Palace next to the cableway station is also called "Zhong 'an", which enshrines the Prince of Wugong Mountain. It is said that praying for divination here is very effective.

After visiting the Purple Pole Palace, we reached the peak. On the left, you can take the horse stakes, in the middle, you can take the Echo Valley, and on the right, you can take the Fuxing Valley. The horse-hanging pile line goes upstream, climbs the hero slope through the horse-hanging pile plank road, and reaches the alpine meadow at the top of the mountain. The trail is steep, and it takes a lot of physical strength to walk along the cliffs and ancient trees in the forest. Echo Valley is an old official road with echo walls, Leiming Gorge and other scenic spots. Fuxing Valley is a mountain road specially built for tourists in recent years, so it takes about 1.5 hours to walk to Jinding. If you don't want to go, you can take another ropeway, which is very humanized. Usually choose the direction of suspension bridge, from Fuxing Valley to hanging horse piles.

Walking on the path of Fuxing Valley, the ecology along the way is very good, with star-shaped Fuxing rock and heart-shaped wishing stone. The information desk and the information desk are the places where the wooden plank road is hung at the back, which is very suitable for taking pictures. However, due to the dangerous terrain and small place, we should pay attention to safety when there are many people. At the end of Fuxing Valley Trail, there is a wooden plank road 1000 meters long. After climbing, you can catch your breath by walking on the flat plank road. This plank road is also a viewing corridor, where you can not only see the ups and downs of the mountains, but also enjoy the unique azaleas, lycopodium and other plants in Wugong Mountain, overlooking the forest terraces. The suspension bridge and glass observation deck on the road are a bit thrilling. If you are afraid of heights, there are ordinary trails next to the suspension bridge. Arrive at the second-class ropeway station, take the ropeway up, and then walk a little further, you can see the unique alpine meadow landscape and Millennium altar of Wugong Mountain.

On the way to the alpine meadow by the second-class cableway, there are several peculiar stone landscapes worth seeing, such as the fist of Wu Shen like a clenched fist and the majestic and profound Wushen Mountain, which cross the meadow along the trail. The four ancient altars scattered on the meadow are the ties used by the ancients to communicate with God. About 1700 years ago, it is the landmark landscape of Wugong Mountain. Tens of meters ahead is the Jinding of Jiangxi Peak. There is a century monument. The base of the monument is a map of Pingxiang, which makes people feel that the whole of Jiangxi is at your feet.

Further on, there is a row of small houses. After passing Baiheguan, you can stay for dinner, and then go to Guanyindang, which is a camp suitable for tents. It is also the campsite of Wugongshan Tent Festival every September, and the colorful tents on the grass are quite spectacular.

Living on the mountain at night, the next morning, when the red sun rises from the horizon, the mountain is gradually dyed red, giving people a very open feeling. You can see the spectacular sea of clouds after sunrise. Especially in autumn, the mountains are full of reed flowers, and the meadow is golden, which is more brilliant under the sunshine. After watching the sunrise, cross the Twin Peaks, take photos at Guamagang, choose the latter at the intersection of Yunjie and Haohanpo, walk through the steep stone steps of Haohanpo several hundred steps, and return to the relatively relaxed Mashi Trail. Cross the hanging horse pile plank road and walk for about one kilometer, then you can return to Zijin Palace cableway station, and then take the cableway down and return to the gate. Turn right when you leave the gate. There are water features such as Tan Qixian and Hongyan Valley Waterfall. If you have enough time, you can also arrange a half-day tour together.
