Musician Rubinstein often goes to his friend Picasso's studio to watch him paint. Rubinstein watched Picasso paint the same thing for months on end. The background is the iron railing of the balcony, and the close-up is a table, a bottle of wine and a guitar. When Picasso painted nearly fifty identical works, Rubinstein asked impatiently, "Aren't you tired of painting the same still life every day?"
Picasso asked, "Don't you think you are talking nonsense? Don't you know that every minute is different from me, and every hour has a new light. Although I watch the same bottle of wine every day, I can see different personalities, different bottles, different tables, different lives in different worlds! In my eyes, all this is different. "

When I was seven or eight years old, I began to learn calligraphy and studied under my father. He feels that sitting there writing all day makes his back ache and his arm ache. Asked if his father had the knack of learning calligraphy quickly, Wang Xizhi pointed to the 18 water tank in the yard and solemnly said, "The secret of writing lies in these water tanks. You will know when you finish writing 18 water tank. " ?
Wang Xianzhi finished "A Tank of Water" and felt that he had made some achievements, and he began to get high. He proudly showed his own handwriting to his mother, who read it for a long time and pointed to the lower part of a word "Tai" and said, "It's just a bit like Xizhi." Wang Xianzhi was shocked when he heard this. It turned out that his mother meant this, and his father added it at the bottom of the word "big" when he was teaching him. Wang Xianzhi sighed deeply: It seems that there is still a long way to go! ?
Wang Xizhi encouraged him: "there is no secret to learning calligraphy, it depends on the word kung fu." Kung fu is a practice, not a trick. Kung fu will become a gift as long as it is really practiced at home. But kung fu is not all about words, that is to say, in addition to hard work, we must study hard, strengthen moral cultivation and improve our personality. These basic qualities are indispensable to becoming a great calligrapher. "
Wang Xianzhi was greatly inspired by his father's teaching. Hard work pays off, and calligraphy has made 18 cylinders of water, and calligraphy has made rapid progress. Later, Wang Xianzhi's writing reached the level of penetrating paper and perfection. His ci is juxtaposed with Wang Xizhi and is called "Two Kings".

Da Vinci finally got impatient and thought that the teacher had underestimated him and asked him to draw such a simple egg. The teacher read his mind and said meaningfully, "There are no two identical eggs in the world. Even the same egg has different shapes because of different viewing angles and different light. "
Leonardo da Vinci remembered this sentence. From then on, he trained the basic skills of painting, not only with his hands, but also with his heart. After several decades, he finally became a great painter.
4. Huai Su's short story of practicing calligraphy.
Huai Su's family was poor when he was a child. When I was young, I became a monk, chanting and meditating, and I became interested in practicing calligraphy. Because I couldn't afford to buy paper, I found a board and disc, painted it with white paint and wrote it. Later, Huai Su thought the lacquer board was smooth and not easy to ink, so he planted more than 10,000 plantains on a wasteland near the temple. When the banana grew up, he picked the leaves and spread them on the table, waving at the post.
Because Huai Su practiced calligraphy day and night, the old banana leaves were stripped off and the leaflets were reluctant to pick, so he thought of a way to stand in front of the banana tree with pen and ink and write for the fresh leaves. Even though the sun shone on him like a frying pan and the biting north wind chilled his hands and skin, he kept practicing calligraphy. He wrote one place after another and never stopped. This is the famous Huai Su octagonal calligraphy.
5. Seiji Ozawa's self-confidence story
Seiji Ozawa is a world-famous symphony conductor. In the final of a world-class competition, he played according to the score given by the jury, and he was keenly aware of the discordant voice. At first, he thought the band had made a mistake, so he told the band to stop and play again, but soon he found it was still wrong. He thought there must be something wrong with the score, so he asked the judges present.
At this time, the composer present and the authority of the jury insisted that the score was absolutely fine, but he was wrong. Facing a lot of music masters and authorities, he thought over and over again, and finally said firmly and loudly, "No! The score is definitely wrong! " As soon as the voice fell, warm applause rang out from the judges' bench to congratulate him on winning the competition.
It turned out that this was a "trap" carefully designed by the judges to test whether the conductor could stick to his correct opinion when he found that the score was "rejected" by the authorities. The first two mistakes in music score were finally eliminated by echoing the opinions of authoritative people, but Seiji Ozawa won the World Conductor Competition because of his confidence.
