How to fold towels

Spread the towel on a flat surface. Choose a clean surface, such as the lid of a washing machine or a clean table. Spread the towel horizontally and smooth it by hand.

If you want to hide the label in the fold, open the towel and let the label face up.

Put the top and bottom of the towel in the middle and fold it by one third. Fold the top of the towel to the middle by one third. Pull the bottom edge to the middle and overlap it in the other third to form a slender shape.

It doesn't matter if your measurement is not accurate. Just make sure the edges are aligned.

Fold the towel in half and hang it on the shelf. Pull the rightmost part of the towel to the leftmost part of the towel. Align the edges so that they are even, and then fold the towel in half.

Smooth out the crease on the towel by hand.

If you need to put the towel in a small space, fold it by another third. If you put the towel in a small storage space, don't fold it in half, but fold it in half to make it smaller. Pull the rightmost end over one third of the towel and align the leftmost end with the right edge of the towel.

After folding the towel into one third, you will get a square.

Put the towel in the closet with the folded side facing you for easy storage. This makes it easier to take towels out of the closet when you need them. Grasp the fold instead of the edge so that it won't come loose. Stack other towels on it, with the folded edges facing outwards.
