How to travel to Xi?

My husband and I spent six days in Xi 'an, traveling alone. We did some homework on the internet before, and it felt necessary. We chose to stay in the same hotel all the time, so we brought a computer and came back every night to prepare for the next day's trip. Modern, hehe, convenient and practical. The total cost of the two of us is between 5500 yuan and 5700 yuan, because we took a lot of change when we set out, and we don't know exactly how much! I hope my travel notes, also called Raiders, can help my friends go to Xi 'an.

Day 1: Beijing -Xi 'an

Big Wild Goose Pagoda-Little Wild Goose Pagoda-Bell Tower-Drum Tower-City Wall Lantern Festival

The plane leaves at 8: 00 a.m. and arrives at Xianyang International Airport at 9:50 a.m. (air ticket 300 yuan+100 yuan for infrastructure and fuel/person). Take the airport bus (25 yuan/person) to the bell tower. I booked the Bell Tower Super 8 Hotel on Ctrip, which is less than 5 minutes' walk from the airport bus stop (staying in a big bed room for more than two consecutive days 169 RMB/day, the room rate on February 28th 188 RMB, and the room rate on March 28th/KLOC-0 RMB). After check-in, I went to Zhubacheng Street in the east of the hotel, and ate Fan Ji bacon buns and cold noodles. We ordered high-quality meat buns (divided into three grades, ordinary, thin and high-quality). I observed that locals generally eat ordinary, while tourists basically eat high-quality, but the cold noodles are really good.

After lunch, we went to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda scenic spot in the Bell Tower by bus. It is necessary to bring enough change when we play in Xi. No one sells tickets by car, so it's one yuan and two yuan when you get on the bus. Therefore, it is suggested to prepare small change of about 100 yuan to facilitate consumption. The whole scenic spot can be divided into three parts, North Square, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and South Square. On that day, we only visited North Square and Jionji. We should go and see the music fountain in the North Square, which is one of the more famous places in Xi. Usually the opening hours are noon 12, 8: 30 pm, and weekends are noon 12, 2: 00, 4: 00, 6: 00 and 8: 30. Jionji is a must-see attraction (ticket for 25 yuan/person, student ticket for 20 yuan). It should be noted that tickets for scenic spots are charged according to the off-season and peak season. Before March 1, it is the off-season. We just went to the scenic spots where we spent money a few days before the peak season, so we saved some money. We must bring our student ID card and military ID card, but not all the scenic spots can be offered at half price. After entering Jionji, you need to pay an extra twenty dollars to climb the tower. We didn't climb the tower because there was nothing particularly worth visiting. The selling point of this tower is that it is personally supervised by Master Xuanzang, so just looking at the appearance seems to be enough. The buildings of other temples are worth taking photos as a souvenir. Because South Square is close to Datang Furong Garden, and there is a block in the middle of the city that never sleeps, we play South Square and Datang Furong Garden together.

We left the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and took a bus to the Little Wild Goose Pagoda at the intersection of North Square. We didn't go into the park, because we didn't want to visit this scenic spot, because we didn't think it was worth it, so we looked outside and left. It is suggested that if this scenic spot is not rich in time and funds, we don't need to go in and see it. After seeing the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, we didn't think it was worth asking me for tickets.

Take the bus back to the bell tower, which is in the middle of the intersection. I didn't know how to get in, so I took some photos at the intersection, which was a visit.

Go back to the hotel and have a rest. In the evening, I went to the snack street behind the Drum Tower, and ate Rong's braised beef, mutton bread in soup and fried bean jelly, as well as sour plum soup. The price is very cheap, 44 yuan * *, and the taste is good, but I'm tired of eating mutton buns.

Just before the fifteenth day of the first month, the Lantern Festival in Xi 'an was very famous, so we went to the city wall by bus. (Tickets for 40 yuan/person are very suitable for us, because the price from the second day to the fifteenth day of the first month is 80! The lights on the city wall will be spectacular and there are many things to see. Compared with the Lantern Festival in Beijing, it is simply incomparable. If you are traveling during the Spring Festival, you should visit more festivals such as Lantern Festival and fireworks show. I feel that the Spring Festival atmosphere in other places is much richer than that in Beijing.

The next day: Xi 'an

Huaqingchi-Qin Mausoleum-Terracotta Warriors-Datang Furong Garden

Depart at 8: 30 in the morning, take bus No.201to the railway station, and walk to "You No.5". There are many private cars soliciting customers near the railway station, so you can't do it. Not too far. Take a few more steps to the state-run tour five stations, with large vehicles and guaranteed driving safety and time. Take a bus to Huaqing Pool (ticket 40 yuan/person, student ticket 20 yuan), and the splendid culture of Datang will be displayed at once. There are many scenic spots worth taking pictures of, as well as places to soak in hot springs. If you don't have enough time, you can enjoy it in the hand-washing pool and foot-washing pool in the hot spring. There are not many exhibition halls in Huaqing Palace in Tang Dynasty, where you can see and learn a lot. There are exhibitions of pictures and objects, as well as many autographs of Mr. Guo Moruo, the dragon chair and the footbath inside. Each hot spring pool has a site introduction. If it's not expensive, you can hire a private guide. After all, people's words are three points right and seven points right. We don't pay for a tour guide, but we have tour guides hired by tour groups to explain loudly at each scenic spot, or privately hired tour guides. The sound is enough for us to listen to, which saves a lot, but don't always listen to one person, change a few more. Anyway, the contents of various scenic spots after that are similar.

After going out of Huaqing Pool, continue to take bus No.5 at the gate station, and then go to the Qin Mausoleum (tickets 15 yuan/person, no student tickets). The Qin Mausoleum is a scenic spot that simulates the Qin Mausoleum, and the real Qin Mausoleum is not open. Here, you can learn about the true face of the Qin Mausoleum and things that are not well known to everyone. Continue to take the No.5 bus and arrive at the Terracotta Warriors. There is KFC in front of the Terracotta Warriors, which is convenient, fast and hygienic. (Tickets for Terracotta Warriors and Horses in 65 yuan/person, student tickets in 35 yuan. In order to save energy and time, we choose to take a battery car from the ticket office to the entrance of the Terracotta Warriors. It's really far, so it takes ten minutes to walk. If there is no car when you come out, just come out. The Terracotta Warriors Museum is very good. Many treasures were exhibited, including bronze chariots and horses, figurines and so on. And there are many physical drawings. The first pit of the three terracotta warriors and horses is the most interesting, and it is also the original location of pictures marking the role of terracotta warriors and horses in various maps. Many foreigners can visit and take photos there. The commentator spoke very well, and the pictures next to the terracotta warriors and horses pit were also very detailed. There are many souvenir shops on the way back from the Terracotta Warriors. We spent fifteen yuan to buy a photo frame display stand for bronze chariots and horses.

Take bus no.307, and the Terracotta Warriors and Horses will go directly to Tang Furong Garden. This route is really not so good. It takes nearly two hours without taking the expressway. Be sure to take the high-speed train back and forth, and just turn again. Delaying time on the road is still a kind of pain. Arrive at Datang Furong Garden after 5: 00pm (ticket 68 yuan/person, student ticket 665438 yuan +0). Tang Furong Garden is a modern building that completely imitates the architectural style of Tang Dynasty. Although it is not left over from history, it is very ornamental. The antique buildings, pavilions, towers and pavilions, the lighting of the whole garden at night and the performances during the Spring Festival are all wonderful. So it is more cost-effective to play during the Spring Festival.

Come out of Tang Furong Garden, walk all the way, pass by Datang City that Never Sleeps and the South Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and have dinner at the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda at 9 o'clock in the evening. On the east side of the North Square, chef Fu Kefu ate Shaanxi specialties, such as gourd chicken and biang biang noodles, rice skin, which was not expensive and tasted good. On the second floor, there are also free shadow play and couples' raising performances, and you can experience Shaanxi culture for free.

Take a taxi back to the hotel in the bell tower.

Day 3: Xi 'an

One-day tour of Huashan Mountain

Because the tourism development around Xi 'an is not perfect, it may also be a problem of industry monopoly. There is only one bus from Xi 'an to Huashan every day, so we may miss the time when we go, let alone come back from Huashan in the evening. Time and vehicles are not guaranteed at all, so if you choose a one-day tour group, you must choose a regular travel company. We reported it at Xi 'an Travel Company near the Drum Tower. (230 yuan/person, including all items except meals).

At 7 o'clock in the morning, the tour guide told us to get up early and told us to meet us at the gate of Yintai Department Store at 7: 45. Yintai Department Store is an obvious building next to our hotel. One interesting thing about Xi 'an's tour is that their travel company will pick up each member one by one in the morning. Because everyone lives in a different place, they will inform you of the pick-up place in advance. Before 7: 45, we went to McDonald's across the street to buy breakfast and lunch. Because I didn't know what to eat at noon and the arrangement of lunch, I bought two more hamburgers for emergency. The tourist bus came to pick us up on time. After receiving us, we successively picked up members of a bus, and then officially set off for Huashan.

It takes about 2 hours from Xi 'an to Huashan. Because the stopover tour company arranged a selling point for the display of medicinal materials, it was delayed for some time. Every tour group has this link. After all, to prosper the local economy, you can just listen and not buy. Near noon, we arrived at the foot of Huashan Mountain. The tour guide arranged a meal in a local restaurant. The food is average, so we can eat it. I ordered two dishes and two bowls of rice, and I ate them all for physical strength in the afternoon, but there are two small hamburgers in the bag for spare, hehe. Because the time of the tour group is fixed, we are arranged to go up and down by ropeway, which will take us to Beifeng and then return to the tourist bus at the foot of the mountain before 5 o'clock to prepare for the return trip. As a result, I can't climb the mountain by myself all the way, and I don't have enough time. We calculated that it should be 1: 20 to take the cableway up the mountain and take ten minutes to Beifeng. After climbing, you must return at most at 3: 30, and the concept of 3: 30 is that you must come all the way down the mountain and not stay too long.

Huashan is worthy of being one of the five famous mountains. Just looking at the scenery at the foot of the mountain already feels very towering and spectacular. We climbed all the way, reached Xifeng within the specified time, and then went down the mountain. Physical strength is not very good, and I didn't go down the mountain until Xifeng. My husband's physical strength is not bad. He is a good climber, so he thinks he can actually climb another peak. The wind at the top of the mountain is very strong. I suggest that you prepare thick clothes and wear hats, which is a great guarantee for your health. The scenery on Huashan Mountain is very beautiful, and there is a feeling of standing on the top of the mountain. Not bad!

At first, our itinerary was four days, so we only arranged one day in Huashan, but just as we were approaching Huashan, my husband's leader informed him that he didn't have to go to work in such a hurry and could come back for two days, but we didn't have time to modify the travel itinerary of Huashan, and we felt too nervous to play Huashan for one day, whether it was a mountain climber or a scenic person. I suggest that if you have enough time, you might as well visit Huashan for two days. Although living on the mountain is not very cheap, it is also a good feeling to live on the top of the mountain at night and listen to the whistling wind. Some people like to climb at night, not bad, save accommodation and watch the sunrise! ~ ~ are all worth considering.

It was nearly 9 pm when I returned to the city. I really didn't have the strength to find something delicious, so I ate China steamed stuffed bun and cold rice noodles in the Wei family's cold rice noodles in Juba, and the taste was authentic.

Go back to the hotel, take a bath and sleep.

Day 4: Xi 'an

One-day tour: Ganling First Village-Prince Yide's Tomb-Ganling-Famen Temple.

For the same reason, we also chose to sign up for a one-day tour of this series of tourist attractions (262 yuan/person, which is a student ID card, excluding the price of meals).

The itinerary is basically the same as the previous day. I'll pick it up at 7: 45 in the morning and then transfer to the city. I sum up the shortcomings of group tour as follows: First, time is tight and the task is heavy. Secondly, there are some places you don't want to go, and the tickets for these places are very expensive, so you can't use your student ID card or something. Third, travelers are not very free. As time goes by, you can't see what you want and what you don't want. For example, the first village of Ganling, where workers lived when Ganling was first built, is not worth visiting, and the fare seems to be 30, which is very depressing.

Prince Yide's tomb is actually very small. Only the coffin is the original. Other things are the national treasure of Shaanxi History Museum and the cultural value of the small exhibition hall next to the tomb. The moisture and turbidity in graves and cemeteries are very heavy. Friends with rhinitis must wear masks, but I just didn't wear them. As a result, rhinitis induces otitis media, which is called a kind of pain. The tour guide arranged for us to eat in a restaurant in the tomb of a German prince. We chose fast food, rice, stir-fried dishes, which are more delicious than those at the foot of Huashan Mountain, and a small chicken leg! ~~~

Ganling and Famen Temple are places we really want to visit more, but we can't enjoy ourselves with tour groups. We only visited Ganling for 40 minutes and didn't go to the cemetery. And because of the foggy weather, the tour guide didn't recommend us to go. It's a pity, but the stone tablet in Ganling is very good and memorable, but remember to take pictures of ancient tombs and cemeteries, and try to only take pictures of things, not people and things in the ancient tombs. Ganling has an explanation. It's arranged by the group. Good. Can explain in detail the historical story about the whole dry mausoleum. After all, we chose to go to Xi 'an to have a good understanding of China's ancient history and culture, so if you like history, you must follow closely, because some people don't consciously speak loudly and can't hear clearly.

In fact, the original site of Famen Temple is not very big, but the newly built folding stupa is super big, and the gatehouse at the entrance is magnificent, which feels a bit like the height of Beijing History Museum, but I unconsciously feel that there is less aura of the temple and more grandeur. The Famen Temple tour is divided into three parts: the folding stupa, the former site of Famen Temple and the Famen Temple Hall. Personally, I prefer the Treasure Hall. Many treasures in it are national cultural relics, so you can feast your eyes on them. The former site of Famen Temple is a place where pilgrims and believers burn incense and worship. The building is very old, but you can still feel the prestige as a royal temple in the heyday of the Tang Dynasty. Folding stupa is the place where relics unearthed from Famen Temple are stored. It is tall and gorgeous and has high ornamental value.

When I returned to the city around 7 pm, because it was the fifteenth day of the first month, the festive atmosphere in other places was very strong before the fifteenth day of the first month. I heard that there was a special event of musical fountain in the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and there was also a fireworks show in the Furong Garden of Datang, so I went to the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda. However, because we took the wrong bus on the road, it was already late, and it was too late to walk to Datang Furong Garden, so we gave up our previous idea. It is said that there are 500,000 music fountain squares.

Day 5: Xi 'an

The arrangement of this day is really helpless, because the daily free travel and accommodation costs are not small. The reason for the free day is that Shaanxi History Museum is closed on Monday. If you want to go, you must pay attention to the schedule, so don't arrange to visit the history museum on Monday. Due to the tense arrangement for several days in a row, my physical strength is not enough. On this day, I woke up naturally and then went out to eat. My husband ate Lao Liu's beef and mutton in Huimin snack street in gulou west. It is said that the food there is authentic, and my husband eats it with relish, but I don't think it is particularly delicious, because I think the whole mutton in Xi 'an is a little smelly! Not really to my taste. Eat less. I can't stand eating too much.

After dinner, I went back to my room to take a nap. After waking up, I set out to see the music fountain in the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda. There is nothing special about this fountain, but I think I must see it when I come.

Dinner was still eaten in Falkford kitchen. We came here for six days and five nights and had three dinners in Fokker's kitchen, which is enough to show that it is quite delicious there.

Day 6: Xi- Beijing

Shaanxi History Museum

When you come to xi, Shaanxi History Museum is a must. Tickets are free. You can exchange tickets with valid documents. Open it and you can see it, official website. The time of winter and summer is different, and the time of invoicing is also different. It is very necessary to ask for an explanation in the history museum. Faced with so many ancient cultural relics, many of them simply don't understand the culture and production process. The explanation in the history museum uses a headset receiver, so it is not feasible to rub other people's explanations like the previous scenic spots, unless there is a tour group, their guides can rub them when explaining. However, for such an important cultural attraction, we still hired a private commentator. Please explain the invoice and remember to scratch the prize. I won 5 yuan, hehe.

Fly back to Beijing in the afternoon.

The whole arrangement is tight first and then loose. My husband went to work the next day after returning to Beijing, and he didn't feel very tired. This is also the desired result of our arrangement.
