Introduction to the University of Macau

The University of Macau is an international comprehensive university located in the quiet and beautiful island city of Macau. 2.3. If you are a previous undergraduate graduate:

2.3.2. If applying for other courses, applicants must take the Mainland China’s National Postgraduate Unified Entrance Examination, and their initial test scores must reach the nationally prescribed district-one score.

2.4. Applicants must obtain a four-year undergraduate/bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification related to the course they are applying for.

2.5. Students who are successfully admitted will only be provisionally admitted. They will be formally admitted after they obtain undergraduate/bachelor's degree graduation qualifications and their overall scores meet the requirements of the relevant college.

2.6. The applicant’s bachelor’s degree graduation average grade is equivalent to *C+ or above. (Except law school courses)

2.7. Applicants must have the language proficiency required to enroll in the course.

3. English Requirements

Applicants for courses taught in English must undergo an interview in English. However, applicants under the following circumstances may be considered for exemption from the English interview:

· The applicant’s bachelor’s degree was taught in English; or

· The applicant’s bachelor’s degree was majored in English; or

· CET-6, TOEFL written test score of 550 or calculator test score of 213, IELTS score of 6.0 or above, or equivalent qualifications.
