A little more stories

I have been to a hotel in Guilin, Guangxi. When I checked in, I found a letter on the table, which said welcome to stay, and wrote another sentence: Where is my breakfast place the next morning? My desk has been reserved, and the number on the desk is written on it. I have stayed in one or two hundred hotels in China, but this is the only one that has even written the table number of the breakfast table.

Many hotel rooms have "Do Not Disturb" buttons. When the light outside the door is on, it means "Do not disturb". But I remember one thing. When guests don't sleep or wait for friends in the room, they usually don't turn on the "Do Not Disturb" light. What if someone knocks at the door just after sitting on the toilet? Ordinary hotels don't consider this.

When I was in Dalian, I found that a hotel did this. There is a button next to the toilet in this hotel, which says "Please wait". So when a guest hears a knock at the door when he goes to the bathroom, he can press that button, and the light outside the door will light up, which says "Please wait", so that visitors can know that the guest is probably in the bathroom. Let's not underestimate this little button. I have stayed in so many hotels in China, and only this one has this button.

This is a way of "deep cultivation" in service. Whoever can go further, do better and win more than the competitors will win the market.
